Hi. On Tuesday, 18.6.2024, we did the 12 km trail. There are more variants, also 4 km, 7 km and 16 km (this one includes via ferrata). Active way to explore the island... Just don't forget water, sports footwear and to heed the hot sun (no shade on the path). More:

On Saturday, 11.5.2024, I walked the picturesque Martin's Path, whose founder is PD Šmartno ob Paki. The path is 25 km long, goes, among other things, over Gora Oljko. It is marked, at individual markings also indicated with the letter M.

On Saturday to Studor from Stara Fužina (marked path towards Uskovnica, back via southern path). From pl. Blatca I looked a bit for the path because I went too far on the meadow-(muddy) cart track is right away on the edge of the meadow by 2 huts, it continues into a steep log slide, which higher up needs to be followed to the right. From there roughly straight up, a bit left, to the take-off point.

I agree with grega_p who writes above "if you're ever at Jezersko with little time, jump to Žmitkov špic...". We were there yesterday. Due to cloudiness the high mountains unfortunately weren't visible. Below the summit there's a ladder and rope. Individual larches are still visible in the surrounding forests.

In early October I went with Raven via Pl. Osredki to Črna prst (to the mtn. hut) and back past Orožnova koča. Nice circular route around Lisca...

So we also went to Matajur on Sunday, starting at Rifugio Pelizzo hut (to there through Baška grapa and Livek). Sunny, cool breeze, lots of people. We took the short 45 min path-very suitable for kids (when not hot). Wow, when you suddenly spot Krn summit. And then wow for everything else.

We also visited Driselpoh. Read about it in guidebook Slapovi (Rok Kušlan). Leave car by road (a bit from Podbrd, after sewage plant and houses to which footbridge goes), space for a couple. Mandatory stop for all passing by with will to hike and 1 hour time

Wandering around Kobla - ski area the day before yesterday, namely Boh. Bistrica - Strme - hunter hut behind Mali vrh (mostly along Juliana trail to here) - upper chairlift station Kobla 3 - almost Kravja Črna gora - back to hunter hut - Kobla 2 - Ravne.

Started in sunny weather, ended in rain. At top of Kobla 3 (wow views!), where to Kravja Črna gora along unmarked path another 15 min (from eye), didn't look for passage from bushes to forest, because 3 hours walking behind me, already heard thunder and no longer sure of my energy reserves. Good decision, because in 10 min rain started and fog rolled in, still almost 2 hours walk across ski area to Ravne ahead. Rain getting stronger, good no wind, didn't freeze. Water immediately running on path. Would rather be safe and comfy on couch, I thought and hurried down. At Ravne waited for pickup.

Path itself unremarkable, mostly on gravel and cart track. Nice views at Strme, at top of upper Kobla 3 station and just before that top looking back Šavnik with Soriška appears. Plan to return to Kravja Črna gora, but shorter path from Ravne past Planina Za Črno goro.

Nice walk from Boh. Bistrica, enough shade and cool at the spring. Circular path possible - from Pozabljeno / over Rebro to the spring and back over Dobrava to Boh. Bistrica. Path marked again with yellow signs.

Lisec on Friday, 13.6.: all green, warm, hazy views... From Orožnova still a good hour's walk, path eroded (marked pathless).

We parked the car where the marked path from Ožbolt turns from the road into the forest, from there to Sršenov vrh it's marked 2h. It's steep, then levels out across the first meadows and past the farm. Even in spring the path is nice, visibility was very good today.
