Hi. On Tuesday, 18.6.2024, we did the 12 km trail. There are more variants, also 4 km, 7 km and 16 km (this one includes via ferrata). Active way to explore the island... Just don't forget water, sports footwear and to heed the hot sun (no shade on the path). More:

It's nice here even in autumn. I was here at the beginning of October, started in Ukanc, met almost no one (counted from the 1st serpentine onwards). The hut under Bogatin is part of the Bohinj mountain trail.

And another autumn Črna prst, on a sunny day, almost no wind at the top, with vivid colors. I went with Raven, via Škrilje (the path has recently been marked again) and back the same way.

But I went from Dom Planica. The path goes zigzag steeply through the forest, higher up it joins the one from Vitranc. At the hut I noticed only the marking, but not the signpost. The path is further marked with a red dot. Higher up in the forest there were a lot of mushrooms.

They really are beauties. They surprised and delighted me on the way from Planica to Ciprnik. From now on I'll always have a reserved spot for them in my backpack

Kope (Grmovškov dom) - Koča Planinc - Koča pod Kremžarjevim vrhom (Kremžarca) - Slovenj Gradec on the last Sunday in August:

From Koča Planinc towards Kremžarca there is a fresh logging trail, the path disappears somewhere and continues under the logging trail (in one part the path below was not passable, because the trees had not been cleared yet). If you pay attention to the markings, you notice when they run out... With the help of the general map we got back on the path.

Another one in this area: intersection Vogar Blato - Pl. Krstenica - Pl. Spodnja Grintovica - Voje - Stara Fužina.

From Krstenica to Grintovica and further it is well marked, only at Zg. Grintovica do you need to find the marking (because there is also an unmarked path to Voje). Lp

On Sunday I was at the two Fužinske pastures (starting from Blato) - in Laz and at the Lake. From Blato to Laz it was lonely, towards the end at the Lake of course more people. Of course, in the valley there was still fog... In Laz there were no piglets yet. I don't know if there will be any this year...

On Sun, 17.5.26, we went to Vodiška pl. from Jamnik. Very pleasant path, with a mini descent to the mountain pasture at the end (and then ascent back). Very very nice view at the beginning to Jamnik and later to a large part of Gorenjska. Some marking is missing though, but the online map quickly helped us...

This time to Zajamniki from Boh. Bistrica, over Senožeta, past Jereka and over Lower Podjelje. From this side, half an hour before Zajamniki is Planina Javornica with an interesting view of the lake. Back the same way, but over Upper Podjelje. The path goes along the road for a while, but the climb is guaranteed, and also peace. Nice!

On Saturday to Studor from Stara Fužina (marked path towards Uskovnica, back via southern path). From pl. Blatca I looked a bit for the path because I went too far on the meadow-(muddy) cart track is right away on the edge of the meadow by 2 huts, it continues into a steep log slide, which higher up needs to be followed to the right. From there roughly straight up, a bit left, to the take-off point.
