Past Durnik and Robije to the summit. In the lower part of Durnik there are some fallen trees and a bit of gymnastics doesn't hurt . Descent past the Otavnik pasture to Zakojca and descent via "shortcuts" to Hudajužna. Nice path, I met no one on the entire path

I too on Saturday a bit around the Polhograjci and a bit in Škofjeloško hribovje.
The weather wasn't sunny, it even drizzled a bit, but still super, at least not too hot. I have the opportunity, so I start right from home - Škofja Loka, continue to Osolnik via Gontarska planina to Iga, then to Tošč, descent to village Selo and further to Sv. Ožbolt, descent to Sv. Andrej and final descent to Škofja Loka. Spring flowers in full bloom. It added up to just under 25.5km and a bit over 1350m elevation gain. I ran most of it alone, as a hiker you need about 8 hours for the route (with breaks).]]>

The plan was Pihavec, but the parking regime in Vrata valley "blew it" as there were no free parking spots left. So we did plan B and went to Prisojnik on the Hanz path.
The path is nice, nothing special, the snowfield is almost gone and can be passed nicely. We also turned to the Devil's pillar, where the sun shone on us for the first time. At the top it was crowded and on the descent via the Slovenian path we met quite a few. From Vršič just a pleasant forest descent

Hi, unfortunately I haven't seen stamps at any church yet. Maybe they have one at the inn by Rupar at St. Andrew...
No summit book anywhere either.

These are wonderful remote areas... We too always head to the same areas to cover most paths and pathless routes. We still have one interesting crossing to Mangart left there, running from the hunting hut in Loška Koritnica. But these are rarely hiked paths and every heavy rain changes something on the path, and even the marked path from Loška Koritnica to Mangart will soon be pathless, from Huda Škrbina on the path is more hiked and visible.

Then yes, from the cross you descend a bit further down. To the scree, a bit lower where you cross it left towards the shoulder. (This is from bivouac A. Bussetini).
Our path went along Via Della Viti to the bivouac, descent towards Koritnica, ascent to V Koncu Špica, Vevnica and then to Struga and descent to the valley.
However, after a couple of years I remembered the cross more than the scree

My companion corrected me that he's not sure if you really turn at the cross attaching guide pic. Mainly we chose this approach because at least for me he accurately described the approach to Kotova Špica, and it really is an easier one...

Yes, at the cross, a bit crumbly variant , but much easier for me than climbing from Kotovo sedlo to Kotova špica There an old Italian path was routed. You exit via the gully between V Koncu Špica and Kotova Špica. Attaching some pics.

6.9.2025 and 7.9.2025
Starting point: Zajzera P3
This time a slightly different tour, a 10-year-old came with us, used to "all the bad stuff". We choose parking P3, for easier return, as we did a circular tour.
We follow first the thematic path marked with green dots, then blue markers, then join the new path to Pellarini hut. We ascend the ridge path, which is also a bit climbing, the gully is well protected. Towards the summit we climb the ridge, just below the top there are some fixed ropes. From the top we descend the normal path to Nabojs saddle, and via C.Chersi path to D.Majcen/D.Mazzeni bivouac. On this path there's quite some scree, and some ups and downs, need to be careful, the eager one was on permanent belay. We arrive at the bivouac just as it gets dark (took 12 hours with breaks). At the bivouac there are also three Frenchmen, but enough space. In the morning we return "rested" to the car, the path still requires caution, and below the waterfall there's still some "gymnastics".
Conclusion, the little one says it was great
Total 19.5 km and over 1900m ascent

It's not quite a "fresh" trip, as I already wrote the post once and successfully deleted it, but maybe it still helps someone
We started at Laghi di Fusine, climbed via della Vita first to Vevnica, descended to bivouac A. Bussetini then over MKM across Huda Škrbina to Mangart and back to Laghi di Fusine.
Via della Vita is renovated, and there is a new cable to the top of Vevnica; they fixed all the "hangers" to the bivouac. The path over MKM has new dots, but the dots are a bit differently routed than about two years ago (scattered a bit here and there), and it is also full of scree as if something "collapsed" not long ago; over the crack the cable is in good condition. The grasses are still steep some cables on steep grasses "hang", but right in the upper part where the path joins the Italian path they started renovating the path and it's very wide.

Bravo for great ascent! I think we met at Velo polje, well at least the gentleman I met said he's going to Mišelj vrh

Start: Rudno polje
Over Studorski preval, turn into Velska dolina already one junction before Vodnikov dom, past Dolič to Kanjavec summit and Kanjavec west summit, descent to Hribarice saddle into Velska dolina, this time past Vodnikov dom back to Rudno polje.
The path is without peculiarities and well marked.
But quite long
On the summit all alone

Thanks pity, because there's a landslide between Grintovec and Kočna, it would have been a nice finish
