Access to Prevalski stog is also possible on the eastern side of Eve. There are more variants, you come out around the lowest point of the ridge between Eve and Prevalski stog (4th picture @alyas). Difficulties are concentrated somewhere in the last ten meters below the ridge, so descent with belaying here might be less demanding. But surely you need to search for the passage from below beforehand.

To the Javornik - Kališče traverse marked, further traceable, no snow except possible fresh fallen. Quite earthy and slippery in wet, accordingly slip risk. Dry no problems.

Completely fresh experience from Gornik store.

I arrive, say what I want, try on what they have, but that's not quite the right one yet. Then a girl comes from the nearby workshop, measures me, we agree on all my wishes (not a few) and I tell them by phone. When the pants are ready they call me. Price slightly higher than the model on the shelf.
As for durability and quality it's second-hand info. Friend and her colleague have been satisfied for some years.

The road is completely dry

Yesterday via Zabreška to the summit, then to Potoški Stol and via the concrete bivouac back to Valvasorjev dom. It was quite warm, the sun softened the snow, so the gear stayed in the backpack.
But cooling and strong northerly wind forecast for tomorrow, so conditions will be completely different.

On Sunday we went along the path above Konjščica to Srenjski preval and Viševnik back to Rudno polje.
Up to the junction with planina Konjščice snow is no obstacle, then more and more.
The guy we met just before the ski area who went to Studorski preval said he was wading snow up to his ass in places, then turned back due to wind.
Us too from Jezerca to Srenjski weren't spared, somewhere to ankles, somewhere much deeper. Luckily we hit a track from Viševnik at the top so we did a loop and didn't have to go back the same way.

@Gita ...and in the forest the wild capercaillie was strolling... we met eye to eye :-)

Eye to eye would be better, since the poor guy is without left eye, so he always aims you to his right side.
It's really nice to see him, hope we don't disturb him too much.
