For a hiker-Slovenjegoričan, it's fitting to go here and there to the highest peak of the Slovenian Hills. After a night shift, I headed to Plački vrh. This time from Ranča, the path to Brloga to Brloga along the Šentilj path, then to Plački vrh, then along the Svečinske Hills path. A bit of mud, a bit of sunshine, and it all evens out, a little here and there...... Šentiljska "overmarked", Svečinska really sparse.

Weather really wasn't promising (yesterday), but since we had already got permissions from better halves.... At Gonžarjeva some questions appeared to me. Answers: yes, much harder than Gradiška tour, yes short, yes requires arm strength etc. After warming up with ferrata we went to Paški kozjak, which is 2.5 hours walk away, if of course you miss a bit and go around ass into pocket, like us. In mt. hut at Paški k. refreshment - cold beer and very tasty Pohorska stew. Then back on "shorter variant", on Vinska gora darkness catches us, really days getting shorter. Path like ferrata o.k.

May Day holiday continues on Rogatec. Path from St. Lenart to the summit B.p.

Today was a wonderful day on Begunjščica, if we exclude the wind, which was particularly strong along the ridge from Draga via Kalvarija to the summit. Without anything special. Patches of snow are unobtrusive. Best regards.

Trail mainly dry, just some patches in shade only. Summit whitened, checked today myself but with wife. Lp

Ha, ha, as if; Prlek with 2 grades of elementary school knows Slovenian or heard of Google Maps or even knows which traffic surfaces there are. Between Rateče and Valbruna asphalt ones?

Thanks. Well, we plan to watch the race a bit so not to drive from Styria for nothing. Plan is to bike from Rateče to Valbruna, watch the race a bit, then back to Rateče.

Is there from Tarvisio to Valbruna any other asphalt road besides the Giro route on which one could ride Saturday with a road bike? Thanks.

Never been to Lussari but I have two questions for some newbies: up to which point along the route will it be possible to go by road bike. And if anyone knows from when the route will be closed. Thanks.
