Started at Naravske Ledine around 10am. The road to the hut on the Ledine is exemplarily groomed and gritted. They really made an effort. Hut closed.
Walked to the summit in fog and quite cold. The path is not icy, goes without crampons.
On the summit a fairytale. Not too windy as usual here. Snow dry, didn't sink on packed paths, but off path sinks to .. and further
Hut open only on Saturdays and Sundays.

Couldn't let it rest, eh? Bravo, nice loop.

No, descent or ascent to Krvavica on SW side, from bench down, few meters quite demanding, especially if snow soft and southern, which it always is in sunny weather. Would say watch out, but would look like apprentice teaching master.

Geppo, as if you knew, today I also chose Krvavička. Plan was up through window, then SW side to Zajčeva hut and via Tesen gorge to start. Unfortunately didn't work out, had to go back same way. Snow on top completely southern, soft and despite ice axe I had, didn't risk descent there.
Back I went by turning left before window steeply down, and below rejoined normal path.
Path trampled, from saddle onward snow increases quickly. Not icy, but microspikes during descent quite useful.
But on path one traverse, which in summer you don't even notice, with snow demands full attention. Sometimes there were protections.

Via Hojnik to Lanež.
From the hut at Grohat we headed straight across the meadow towards the Lanež wall. Rozki quickly spotted the right direction and found the mark for the summit at the forest edge. From there it was easy. The path is mostly well followable, at the entrance to the wall there are even two or three steps, then sweet scrambling to the top.
Nice, solitary, but short. From Bukovnik past Grohat to the summit we took 2 hours.
Back via Durce to the hut for a snack. They have tasty dishes served by friendly and fun Carinthians

If this is up to Rozka's EMŠO expectations, then I must say 'good old geppo doesn't give in' Bravo!

This Črni Hriber is really a tough nut. Orientationally and fitness-wise demanding pathless terrain.
We started around 8am at the parking in Robanov kot. To the mountain hut we warmed up nicely and found the entry which is indistinct, but we succeeded the first time. Follows steep incline that doesn't let up to the top. Sometimes the path is well traceable, but suddenly it disappears and you have to work for continuation. No marks to help with orientation. On the whole tour we met two guys, and that more towards the end.
No special features on the path, just some fallen trees that can be bypassed nicely.
Exceptional experience for me. Also Rozka who repeated the tour after some years was happy when we reached the spring under Utami around 12pm.
Back we went over Strelovec where larches are already getting golden color.
Wonderful tour, wonderful company.

Yesterday on Lisca via a slightly longer variant. Now that pensioners have free public transport, time to go to the hills like before - by train!
I drove to Zidani most, then Gašperjeva koča - Veliko Kozje - Lovrenc - Lisca - Razbor - Breg (railway station).

The path starts on asphalt past construction sites on the railway line, but that's soon behind me.
From Gašperjeva koča onwards (hut closed, but drinking water available) the path climbs to Veliko Kozje. The steepness doesn't let up all the way to the saddle under the summit. It almost misled me here and I would have soon descended back to Radeče. I found the path to Lovrenc, which gently descends all the way and is well marked. Here and there nice views open up on the right to Kum and the Sava basin, otherwise through the forest.
Meadows around Lovrenc are unmown and fenced. I don't know, perhaps because of gentian patches, which have of course already finished blooming.
To Lisca just an hour's walk. Met no one.
Tončkov dom on Lisca open again (except Monday). Interior renovated, outside mostly the same.
Returned via Razbor (in 2005 declared the nicest arranged mountaineering village). They also host an addicts' commune, but as it seems they live in harmony.
Breg railway station was my goal. Train to Zidani most and further runs in the afternoon almost every hour.
Over 20 km and 8 hours walking.

Yesterday (just the 13th) a unique opportunity offered itself, I could choose the tour and decided for Tirke peči. No regrets.

Morning is wonderful. We park at the last bend of the road on Golte. We walk under Bela peč towards the monument, on some variant that turns out good as it avoids mud on the lower path. We pick up all ticks sticking to pants and scare a herd of young roe deer.
Path to entry gully is orientationally quite demanding, lots of side paths and choosing the right one isn't trivial. Before the gully Zlatko sends me to find "ass". Of course I found it right away.
Foot pegs in gully wet and cable stings fingers a bit without gloves, but only one "ouch".

At Klopna peč we stop first time a bit and look around. The ridge of Bela peč is really mighty.
Continue over "štenge" on steep traverses to Konjski vrh (if I remember right, locals call it "last meadow"). Avrikelj already wilted! Cross pastures where livestock already grazes, towards Žlajfar. Refreshment.
On to the hotel that looks closed despite quite some visitors.

Descent pure Zlatko style. From Alpine garden direct vertical to the road. Unforgettable!!! Probably won't repeat that, at least not me. Adrenaline still "pumps" today.
Nice morning tour (good 4 hours spent), so we were home on time for lunch.
