I'm from the Domžale area, more active in the hills over the last few years, very satisfied if I do around 35 tours. Summer ones. In winter I don't go, because I dedicate weekends to skiing. This year my tours are modest due to an injury both in number and elevation meters. Regards to all!

No, hanč, no helmet is needed for the trail from Soča. The trail is long (I have a sort of average pace for my 47 and it took me 5 hours to the top), but technically undemanding. However, last year water could not be refilled anywhere along the way. Lp!

All the best (it still holds) also from us!

I wish you quickest recovery and that you still catch autumn hikes! (In January tore hamstring.)

When we were descending from Planjava on Saturday, we listened and watched a helicopter for about an hour, which fog below Rinkami occasionally hid. Lowering, lifting, circling - no doubt what it was about. A quiet, sincere wish wells up from the heart: hope it's not anything serious! Good luck to him, whoever it is. And may the helicopter with rescuers not crash anywhere. Bojan, you're very young, yet I estimate you already have a lot of experience. You don't know where this new experience will come in handy. Every thing is always good for something. You two got into trouble and made a smart decision. I also think of your parents. Who among active mountaineers could say they'll never need GRS help? If I ever do, I hope I greet them still alive and healthy, just like you two. Good luck!

Hey guy, Bojan, bravo! Some routes are reserved for the chosen ones. This route will surely never see me, not just because of pic no.9... They've made Mangart easier (maybe too much) with the road to the saddle. Well, I could hike from below, but it's not comfy that way... If I stumble upon them, I read your reports with pleasure, also because of the cute writing style. Good luck ahead!

Me 46, husband 53. Even grandpas peek at the portal... Where did these years pile up, we feel 25 inside!

Wonderful! Bravo! To be a bird above the mountains for a moment...

Through the photos I almost breathed the winter morning... And for a moment forgot the grumpiness: a log fell on my man's thumb while sawing, he lost the nail, I dropped a wine bottle. Nose still swollen, we're home like two cripples...

My husband and I don't go on tours in winter, so on weekends we gladly throw the cross-country skis in the trunk and head to Rudno polje, to planina Zajavornik from Mrzli studenec, Rateče, Rogla... Unfortunately this season we've barely managed to step on skis once. The only suitable days so far had Pokljuka and Rogla world championships, elsewhere no tracks yet. Currently watching the weather forecast with a sour face - if anyone knows where to go cross-country (except the two mentioned destinations), let them report. Regards!

dj12, super photos, great weather and obviously peace around dad. Very well shown current conditions. Hope they hold until Saturday, 'cos I'm thinking about Kredarica. Lp!

Saturday, 17.10., to Crna Prst from Kocenpoharja. Primorska side was dry and sunny, Bohinj side whitened with 1-2cm snow. Hut was open, but probably last time this year.

It's true, every long-time mountaineer individually would surely have a very interesting "memories blog"...
