Today in these Italian-Austrian hills. Up through Lom pasture, to Bistrica pasture and to Marija Snežna chapel... Nice weather in beautiful spots..☺

Yesterday we visited the Two Spires (Due Pizzi).
The peak, which is 2046 m high, is little visited, since when we left the asphalted road to the top and back we didn't meet anyone. Otherwise we started from Planina Zajzera, past Rif. Grego hut to Rudni vrh saddle from where we descended along the asphalted road (this part of the path is the most boring) to the marker which directed us quite steeply up the hill. The path to the fork for Pipar runs through bushes, yet it offers a nice view of Montaž. Then the view opens to the two spires and Bivak Bernardinis. From here on the path is extremely interesting as there are many ruins from the First World War. From the bivouac onwards we have a path through a tunnel, natural window and passage along a carved ledge in the wall under Cima Alta summit. Follows a short ascent through bushes to the summit itself. On the return we also visited the lower peak of the two spires called Cima Vildiver. Descended by the same path and at the end drank a well-deserved beer in Rif. Grego hut. Really interesting path and the weather served us well.

Track to Stol done... today on the summit a few people. Snow starts about a hundred meters below prižnica and rises fast with height..

A couple of today's.... winter conditions, but ideal for winter

I think for the path via Tominskova currently no winter gear is needed, there's only one snowfield (in pic by boblak3) and it's currently crossed at the narrowest part (ca 2m and even there good "steps") with some ingenuity you can avoid it too... lp

Today to Triglav in pleasant company starting from Krma and then via Planika and Triglavska škrbina to the summit...descent Kredarica-Stanič-Vrata. Path bp, just a bit less wind and a bit more sun wouldn't hurt

One from today from Stol..Trail without peculiarities. Lots of visitors, so parking at Valvasor is quite difficult..

I also tested this ferrata today and can say it's quite demanding and shorter than expected, still need quite some arm strength. Didn't have climbing shoes and think they can ease ascent a bit, whoever relies more on shoes than hands better not go or choose left branch I returned on...that is incomparably easier...

Just to add regarding the road passability to Valvasor... the one to the hut surely won't be passable another week, currently you can drive almost to the junction for Ajdna

Today on Stol, very early so also very hard, meaning with crampons it goes great, on the return or if later then also gaiters and good mood and that's it.... there's still a huge amount of snow and early morning really nice weather..

Today on Stol from Zavrsnica... to Valvasor "highway", but hard and partly icy, the same further to Priznica. Further in the scree more snow, but dry, the last part mostly blown off, so we go most of the way on rocks. As for winter gear, it's that time when we must have it with us, then as needed...

Yesterday on nighttime Triglav, because that's the easiest way to fight for time, an interesting experience....started from Krma still on Friday between eleven and twelve and via Kredarica to the top. As for equipment, crampons are welcome even though we only need them for a few patches a few meters long.
We returned around seven, so we no longer needed lights for the last part of the path...
