Where is the problem that the map under Mountain Lists doesn't open (at least for me), an ad appears, but the map doesn't open?

Yesterday we went to Austria to the Pack Alps. We started at Salzstiegelhaus at the Hirschegger Sattel pass. We climbed up to Speikkogel, and continued over Hofalmkogel, Weissenstein, Ameringkogel to Grossenberg. In the morning the snow was still hard, on the way back we used snowshoes. The whole route took us 7 hours.

Nice. Picture 7 - from Viš, Koštrunovi spici, across Poliške špice to Montaža. Where was that again when I hiked it. "How time flies".

Maybe I was the only one who had that luck this morning when I was looking at ljubitelj gora's photos - at every one I opened, a party with its politicians popped out. I know that this portal also lives from advertisements, but politicians' ads seem disgusting to me.

Well yeah, now the politicians will be popping out at every photo we look at here. We'll have to give up this portal for a month or so.

Not ugly exactly, but it takes a lot of energy.

I didn't know that the Jesenice municipality portal is up here too...

You can park at the mountain hut or at the intersection: hotel - babin zub or somewhere in between. From the hotel to the mountain hut is cca 4 km. As mentioned, the nearest parking for Midžor is bife Plaža.

Three years ago the road was normal, probably hasn't changed until now. Also the road to the hut under Babin Zub is asphalted, a bit further to the bife where the starting point for Midžor is, the road is gravel and also drivable.

Yes, to see the carved inscription you have to go back. We also noticed it when returning, when we went about 500 m too far. We probably wouldn't have missed it if the larches weren't so beautiful, and we weren't paying enough attention to the path.

Yesterday from Planina Ravne to Križevnik, Moličko peč and Dleskovec among golden larches. Due to admiring them we missed the junction to Poljska planina, which extended the route by about a kilometer. There used to be a sign at the junction for Poljska planina, which is no longer there. Otherwise nothing special, except painfully pushing through the scrub to Moličko peč

Indi and Kafetarca, I hope you both reach old age and then maybe it suits you to drive with the car to Mangart Saddle or Vršič, so you're "closer" to the mountains.

As someone already wrote, PZS doesn't care for its members, but has succumbed to the forces of capital.

I have already visited it this year. The hike to Zirbitzkogel is suitable in every season. The hut is open on weekends even in winter, and the path is groomed with a snowcat.

So, if I go from Vršič on some longer tour, parking will cost me 40 eur. Thanks, Slovenia, my country, and special thanks to PZS, which takes such good care of hikers!
