Where is the problem that the map under Mountain Lists doesn't open (at least for me), an ad appears, but the map doesn't open?

Yesterday we went to Austria to the Pack Alps. We started at Salzstiegelhaus at the Hirschegger Sattel pass. We climbed up to Speikkogel, and continued over Hofalmkogel, Weissenstein, Ameringkogel to Grossenberg. In the morning the snow was still hard, on the way back we used snowshoes. The whole route took us 7 hours.

Nice! Picture 27 - in this area Igor Zlodej had an accident, a great mountain lover. He wrote a lot on this portal about conditions under the name Triglavski.
I recommend the mentioned path Ceria Merlone!

Since I'm heading to Musala at the end of the month, I'm interested in the cable car timetable, does it run every day? How about crossing the Serbian-Bulgarian border, do you wait long? Thanks and lp.

Yes, now there are different, modern times. I myself am from the older generation, for planning routes I always used guides, of which there were many. There is one for the Karavanke, for example for the Julian Alps I liked most to take the guide by Tine Mihelič - everything matched.

Congratulations bos, for the SPP along the entire route! It really is something else than if you walk from point to point. I hiked it five times, but only once in the way you do it. That was back in 2004. It is true though that I didn't do the whole thing at once, but in stages. And that too is something special. I would try again, but age and health no longer allow it.

A bit late, but anyway. At the end of May a group of us set off for Pelješac. On the way we stopped in Omiš and headed to the Fortica fortress above Omiš. The next day was the ascent to the highest peak of Pelješac. We started from the road leading from Viganj to Lovište. This way we gained some altitude in the heat, but the route was longer because we walked almost 4 km on a gravel road before joining the path coming from Viganj. Then past the hunting and mountain hut to the summit with nice views. The return was by the same route, total 17km (my new hip held up). The next day we went to Korčula, climbed the fortress above Vela Luka and visited Oliver's town. There was still one day left to see the walls of Ston.

Sorry, boss, age is already getting to me a bit.

Bos, as I notice, you are often on Pag, so I recommend you hike the Life on Mars path together with the via ferrata above the sea.

Sebo, are you one of the municipal bigwigs?

Nice. Picture 7 - from Viš, Koštrunovi spici, across Poliške špice to Montaža. Where was that again when I hiked it. "How time flies".

Maybe I was the only one who had that luck this morning when I was looking at ljubitelj gora's photos - at every one I opened, a party with its politicians popped out. I know that this portal also lives from advertisements, but politicians' ads seem disgusting to me.
felix28. 02. 2026 07:29:09
Well yeah, now the politicians will be popping out at every photo we look at here. We'll have to give up this portal for a month or so.

Not ugly exactly, but it takes a lot of energy.

I didn't know that the Jesenice municipality portal is up here too...

You can park at the mountain hut or at the intersection: hotel - babin zub or somewhere in between. From the hotel to the mountain hut is cca 4 km. As mentioned, the nearest parking for Midžor is bife Plaža.
felix28. 10. 2025 10:02:16
Three years ago the road was normal, probably hasn't changed until now. Also the road to the hut under Babin Zub is asphalted, a bit further to the bife where the starting point for Midžor is, the road is gravel and also drivable.
