Today I was also with two colleagues at the top of Jalovec. Pictures say it all!

I went via the summer variant through KG, as the jumps are wet.

Today was on Špik through Viper Gully. Start in total darkness. Track made, weather phenomenal, at the summit slight breeze, didn't meet a single hiker all day (except crowd in Krnica)! Super tour!

My intention is not to criticize anyone. All who go to mountains in winter know what equipment and knowledge is needed. We can share our experiences or pass info on current conditions in mountains. Or inform all not skilled in winter walking what to watch for so no accidents happen. Important is to enjoy and care for our safety and safety of other hikers. Haven't been to top of Spik in winter yet, plan to go in next days, so interested in current conditions. Congrats again, no hard feelings. Best!

Congratulations! Which route did you take to the summit? I agree with Juš though. In winter to Spik there is no safe and easy access.

I was today on Mali Rinka. Weather fantastic, in the Turski žleb caught the sunrise, on the top strong wind so I didn't go to other peaks. Conditions already excellently described by JTrogar. On descent met at least 30 hikers, of which twenty mountain rescuers. Refreshed myself in the hut, enjoyed sun rays and no wind, and finished another super day in the mountains.

I'm also going to Rinke tomorrow. Is the road over Črnivec normally drivable? Thanks!

Today I was on Vrtača. Started at 6.00 from Ljubelj. At Zelenica just at sunrise. Continued through Suho ruševje to gully "y". Up the gully to the top. Snow is firm and frozen, gully is "filled". Without crampons and ice axe no go! Great views from top. Descended south side. Weather and conditions fantastic! But I wonder: is it usual that the hut at Zelenica is closed at this time and nice weather? Met lots of hikers.
