Or maybe someone knows, what's the path now from Pl. Blato to Planina Laz like?

I noticed in the posts that some of you don't descend from VDV to Srenjski preval and then to MDV, but do it directly along the ridge. I'm interested in how demanding this ridge between VDV and MDV is?

I agree with the above comment. I was just waiting to see if someone would finally react. And it's good that the photo is removed and stops advertising bathing in Triglav Lakes. I believe one person doesn't do much damage, but I can't imagine everyone in turn bathing or dipping their feet there... and I just don't understand how such a big mountain lover and regular contributor on these pages is so unaware and indifferent to our natural treasures... I have no respect left for her, really... and I'm sorry for that, but I can't feel otherwise... cool

@michael66, possible already from Radušnik on skis or if not, how much higher more or less continuous snow cover starts? Thanks.

Still good for skiing?

Hi everyone, I'm not used to planning trips like this, but this time exceptionally I'm asking for help. On short notice we have a chance for vacation and would go to Dolomites for 3-4 days. First time. I'd like to do say two to three dry hikes (probably southern approaches?) with the best views possible. Anyone have experience visiting Dolomites in this later autumn time when there's already snow high up, where is nicest, where we can expect dry conditions and where you recommend staying so we don't drive from the valley up every day. I'll be infinitely grateful for any useful tip.

Hello,
I'd like advice regarding the purchase of a puffer jacket. The decision for synthetic filling has already been made. Does anyone have experiences and can recommend a really very warm model? I don't need it for during movement, I've never been so cold in my life while moving that I'd need a puffer jacket, but rather to put on at the top or in case of bivouac overnight and similar. When I stop and cool down I'm abnormally cold-sensitive and really need something very warm. Given that prices are sky-high, I don't want to miss out on the purchase.

Thanks for any advice or experience!

Is there still any snowfields a month after the last report from the Silva Korena path? Planning for the weekend...

And one more question: We would like to connect the ascent to Krn from Drežnica, then continue to Krnčica and down. How feasible is it? As I saw, the path from Krn to Krnčica is not marked. Where does it branch off and how well traceable is it? From Krnčica we would descend to Planina Zapleč and then to Drežniške Ravne. How far is it then on foot to Drežnica, where the car is? Is there any other option? Thanks for any tip and help.
