The path through Kendove robe is officially closed. Safety gear is damaged (torn cable).

Has anyone gone up the steep these days?

@hijacker - haven't walked Tominškova but went yesterday via Slovenska gora and down via prag. No snow anywhere, not even in Slovenska grapa, so probably none on Tominškova either

I descended the Italian route last Thursday - no snow or ice.

Some pics from Saturday ramble above Leskovca pasture

On Saturday we ascended Srednji vrh via Desna grapa (lower part left branch). Below it sank quite a bit, upper part was hard. Followed by traversing Srednji vrh, then from the saddle between Batognica and Vrh nad Peski we skied under Krnska škrbina. Base mostly hard with some softer parts. Ascent to Škrbina via left steeper part, then some on foot, others on skis directly to Krn summit. Descent from top (at 11) via the gully excellent powder (same reported from normal route via flank). Via avalanche tongue Franci, Bojan, Jože and little me reached down to 1100m.

On Wednesday 23.12. I crossed the ridge from Tolminski Kuk to Žabiški Kuk. I avoided the ridge by about 100m only right after the Globoko pass. Practically no snow, just some patches, which can be avoided.

I haven't been on Hanzova, but on Saturday with my colleague we climbed Severni raz which runs next to Hanzova - the wall was dry. But a bit below the summit it started snowing and quickly everything was white - but surely no traces of it are left.

The author of the AO Rašica report told me there's only a few hundred meters of snow in the Slovenian gully.
