Sincere condolences to the family.

Well I tell them they are idiots so obviously that even I feel bad....

Such guys should not just fine them 1000€ but put them straight in the cooler for a week so they remember for next time.

Because I get scared seeing them above me in snow without gear. Because with this they INTENTIONALLY endanger people around them too.

Once I stopped a Czech girl without gear on Mali Triglav, luck was she was only cca 3m above me because if more question if I wouldn't go a bit flying with her too... Of course she wasn't worried at all and acted like nothing happened...

For me let them go naked up, but when no one else around them couple 100 meters..., but usually they go when everyone does...

With these actions they INTENTIONALLY endanger others and if you ask me it's same as driving drunk on opposite lane.

Maybe only I see it that way.

On this forum you can document solo ascent on Eiger north face and experts will be found and of course find a hair in the egg...

If a person looks for a hair in an egg, they always find it.
The only interesting thing is that always the same ones look for it.

From Razdrto to Vojak Hut there is no snow, on the dry summit approx. 20 cm. On top a little breeze.

Up to 900 m practically no snow. A bit higher it's wet. But all nothing. On the plateau itself about 20 cm..

In the last two weeks not once up in real winter boots but lighter ones... Crampons no use.

Muddy yes, especially lower... How muddy depends on which path up...

In muddy conditions drive further by car to turnaround at the end. Better not stop on road because of wardens. Path up almost no mud and quickly on meadow.

If crowded cars and warden problems park higher on some meadow (just off road). Wardens no authority. I know all meadow owners around path.. none ever made problem.

From Strane village don't know currently... go there little

Yesterday at the saddle and at the wall. From Logarska gora everything is in snow. All winter gear necessary. Paths trodden to Okrešelj, further not trodden. Pegs are in and not out... Not for beginners. ..

Today at the summit. The path is trodden, from today onwards..

Snow up to cojzeve ker plenty, gaiters needed. Further from the hut it's like somewhere, either blown or drifted. Towards the summit icy.

The strong wind did surprise us a bit, as most people from Stüdlhütte winter room went down to the valley when they woke up. Well, we had a break for about an hour and continued....

The wind was forecast at 50kmh but it was a bit more gusty... but it's true we're all used to it since we're from Nanos, so we decided to go on...

Otherwise, who mentions fighting for survival, it was still very, very far from that...

But that doesn't mean I have to lie down and wait for darkness and even colder. A one-day ascent requires a bit more movement....

yeah that's classic hribi.net yeah...

I post a video up there so folks can see a bit what the path over Studelgrad looks like and the salting of wisdom starts....

but I'm not surprised by the crowd, I'm surprised by a few persons who know how it is up there, who've been through something, but here they write fairy tales about sin and repentance... themselves walk just the same štajerca... I won't name them... right, even though I read that štajerc is reserved only for the chosen ones....

Of course some of today's commentators lead guided tours for 500€ or 550€ according to the book to the top of GG, since they're trained for that. And of course they find a hair in the egg, it would be strange if they didn't.

Have you perhaps thought that my buddy and I agreed not to belay constantly, since it's much faster that way... that's the decision of us two, since we trust each other... and not yours. Of course proper protection is needed if you don't feel like walking štajerca.

Have you thought that I'm in the rear of the first rope team for a reason you don't need to know..., which was also part of the agreement

Have you thought that my buddy also knows how to solo GG, he just had a bad day fitness-wise...

Do you have any idea what it's like to be almost 10 hours at -20C and how that looks and that we wanted to get through to shelter as soon as possible.... everyone, (some have frostbite from that day )

on the couch at +22 it's easy to be smart...

At my mileage I'll judge myself whether I can actively belay if I'm with someone on the rope or can walk štajerca.... without permission of some pearls of this forum

You'll have a hard time explaining to the locals what can and can't be done on Nanos. The opening hours of the hut under the new tenant have been halved. Services as well...

Regarding water... Before, firefighters brought it... or the owner himself, now when it runs out, it's gone...

I had nothing against the new hutkeeper, only once I honestly answered what she asked about the food... and the offense was huge... and to avoid misunderstanding, I also praised what was praiseworthy but she didn't hear that. She heard only what was wrong and of course misunderstood it...

But what can we do, only regular Nanos visitors see this...
