My friend and I did this trail three days later than you two in the clockwise direction. From Laško to Zavrate then to Baba, Ostri vrh... We slept in the hut on Mrzlica. Personally it's really one of the nicest circular trails for me. I had the PZS app on my mobile and we had no problems on the trail. What was even the nicest is we stuffed ourselves with blueberries and drank fresh water from Gozdnik towards Šmohorje. Definitely we'll repeat it next year. Not to mention the super service on Mrzlica :P

interested in conditions on Grintovec, if anything changed on Saturday, planning to go that way, thanks

Since the link to Begunjščica won't open for me, I'm curious about conditions in the central one, if anyone was there yesterday or day before. lp sharp

Pohodnik38 thx for info we were up today, way too hot gotta say only that I'd go 2x same path up down, first time today on that path otherwise great for gušt despite early start too hot

We're going tomorrow to Skuta from Konca, via Gamsov skret, hope the snow is gone... if anyone has info let them say

I'm curious what the situation is from Kamnik saddle towards Brana; are crampons and ice axe needed or is the path possible without them?

There's still quite a bit more than 20 cm of snow and if a warm wind comes the hard crust starts collapsing and soon you can sink up to your hip.

We experienced that on 7.4; it was quite fun but tiring Our starting point was Svino
