If you know something from your own experience so I can prepare for the route and gear in advance. Or if within a 50 km radius there's anything interesting to see, some waterfall, some summit to climb, say up to 5 hours...

I need help planning ascents, which peaks do you recommend, maybe some excursions and probably the most important, I plan to propose to my girlfriend somewhere there, so any advice would be welcome (maybe some romantic spot, some nice peak with a view, some wonderful hidden corner...)

Just to correct you, heart rate is measured on Ambit 3 underwater too, and you sync it with the watch at the end of swimming. Anyway, you can't see it while swimming.

Garmin also released a new heart strap with which it will be possible to measure heart rate while swimming on the same principle as Suunto watches.

It's true you can track everything with a phone, but battery is really a problem, and it's not practical either, because I like to monitor during training, check current heart rate, distance... and it's more practical than on a phone, plus better watches have more data for analysis and sensors for monitoring. But I agree that for basic use a phone is fine.

Don't know the Polar A300 watch...

I asked around and read some descriptions and tests. For my needs i.e. hiking, occasional running and swimming and other stuff best choice is Suunto Ambit 3 or if really cheap Ambit 2. Fenix 2,3 out because lots of GPS accuracy issues and reliability not their strength, price too high for what they offer, other pluses don't outweigh. Most likely I'll buy Ambit 3 because long battery life, reliable, good GPS reception, barometric and GPS altimeter, storm predictor, can swim with HR monitor and more advantages. Waiting for prices in Germany to drop to 300 eur (now 330) and then buy it.

bought them and tried them, so far they work very well, only on steeper slopes they slip quite a bit, maybe I just need to get used to them.
