If you don't have to go in autumn, a good trek is also end of March, beginning of April...........autumn is still high season, and it's crowded too.............no problem going on your own, you can arrange everything, info you get in SLO almost everywhere about Nepal and its treks..........
We were in Nepal and India 40 days, Everest trek, it was really good, we were 3, it cost us cca 1500€ per person, all complete, of course own organization............we were there March-April 2010......

hmhm, we're thinking of going next year February, for now we're kind of 3 in the group, self-organized.....if anyone else is up for it, we can talk.....plan is about 20 days, including Kili also safari and some wandering .....

I was on Stenar from Dovških vrat at the beginning of the month, missed the path only where there was a snowfield. Just look at the map a bit, you know the direction, no problem. In the worst case you reach Stenarska vrata. Probably today there's no more that snowfield, so no problems.

I'm interested in the path from Tamar, over Jalovška škrbina to the summit, back over Kotovo sedlo to Tamar.
