Above the Ferlič fish farm I enter the forest and head to Srebotnik. Below the summit I meet a chamois. I continue towards Celje hut and further along the ridge descending from Tolsti vrh to the west. I follow the markings to Tremerje and then along the ridge of Mali Slomnik. Down the southern slope of Kamčič to the gravel road and into the valley to asphalt. I cross the stream and tackle the steepness of Kotečnik. When I reach the saddle between Kotečnik and Gozdnik, I continue along the upper road and turn right into the forest on the forest lane. I descend to Artišnica valley and finish in Griže, where transport was waiting.
Weather was decent. Strong wind on summits (especially Kotečnik). Early afternoon it clouded over.

@dprapr Exactly! On the descent you wonder why you did this to yourself. But the beauty of nature, especially in autumn when the maples turn yellow, outweighs all the effort.

Great video posted by @bojson inspired me for a hike from Srebotnik to Kotečnik. Kamnik was also planned, but my left ITT got inflamed, so end in Griže.

This evening along the ridge of Mali Slomnik to the viewpoint above Libojska stena. Short but sweet. Pity there's no bench on the promontory anymore.

Yesterday up the marked path, the wind was pleasantly cooling. On the way back it was hot even in the shade.

Monday via Krma to Triglav. Beautiful days it'd be a shame to spend in valley. From Kredarica to top rock-ice-snow aplenty.

Keko, what do you say about that ledge on Jubilejna, supposedly very exposed? Is it just exposure or also technically demanding?

THANKS! Yes, I always wear a helmet. Last year a stone flew past me on the path from Okrešelj to Kamniško sedlo... luckily just past.
