Hi, for photography needs on various projects I'm looking for families with younger children (approx. 4-10 years). Upcoming projects are mainly on the theme of hiking, so experience in this area is desirable. Appropriate equipment and clothing are also desirable (high hiking boots, hiking poles, ...).

Photography on demanding trails is not planned, meaning it's more about easier paths outside serious high mountains (e.g. Blegoš, Pohorje, some hills on Jeruzalem, etc...).

Photoshoots are all over Slovenia, mostly in Gorenjska.

Besides hiking motifs we also photograph other tourist activities - e.g. a visit to some museum, a visit to a tourist farm, cycling trip, ...

Time flexibility is desirable, as photoshoots are often during the week and mainly depend on weather, so if we find out a bad weather forecast for the agreed date, the photoshoot is postponed by a day. Own transport is also desired.

Payment for 1 shooting day (from morning to evening with breaks, snack, lunch, ...) is approx. 450 EUR gross for the family. It can be a higher budget at some projects, but around there.

I'm also adding a collage of photos for an approximate idea of what type of photos it is.

If interested, contact me by email jost.gantar@gmail.com - it's super if you attach a recent photo, best from some family hill hike! nasmeh

Thanks - hope someone turns up!

On Saturday evening we headed to Črna prst, watched the St. John's Night fireworks from the summit in Bohinj, experienced a wonderful sunrise over Lake Bohinj, fought with horses on the Za Črno goro pasture, admired endless flower carpets and roamed the ridge tops towards Raskovec, and descended to Ribčev laz.

More photos and an extensive route description I posted at the link: Sen Kresne noči nad Bohinjskim jezerom

Before the weather worsened I awaited sunset on Turska Mountain, morning in bivouac under Skuta. But during the night a front with deterioration arrived in KSA and brought thick fog to Male pode. Still beautiful autumn jump into the hills!

Hey, does anyone by chance have any info on conditions on the path to Vodnikov dom on Velem polje - either from Rudno polje around Tosc or via Bohinjska vrata from Krma. Thanks.

Last week we went to Triglav "through" a rainbow, as luck smiled on us at Begunjski vrh with a very intense glory that lasted about 20 minutes. Start in Vrata via Tominškova path, overnight at Staniča, in between to Begunjski vrh and Visoka Vrbanova špica, then past Kredarica to the relatively crowded Triglav summit. Back to Vrata via Prag path.

Also my shot of Triglav and Julian Alps from Izola - since there's discussion on the topic. Especially in winter visibility can be really crazy... *image uploader unfortunately reports an error, so view them via the link below...

Just before the weather worsened we used the sunny afternoon and jumped to Rodica, where we awaited the sunset - you could see all the way to the sea!

True, no issues with orientation. For the tour we did, this direction is better - so up the ridge and down the Austrian side to Jezersko saddle and Ledine. But if including the secured climbing route from Ledine, probably better the other way - up the climbing route and down the ridge to Jenkova planina.

On Sunday to Velika Baba via Jenkova planina along the ridge up and down via Jezersko saddle to Ledine. Super scenic circular route and after a long time a wonderful sunny day!

On Monday we visited Raduha, from Bukovnik over planina Grohat, unfortunately rain spoiled it a bit below the summit, so we didn't step on it. Still a nice trip and genuine contact with nature.

Hey, for the whole route I needed approx. 6 hours, but I spent quite a lot with the camera and long on the summits. Otherwise, for example, Kofce - Veliki vrh is an hour and a half walk, Veliki vrh - Kladivo also a good hour, further I don't know... According to Karavanke guide, starting from Kofce traversing the whole ridge one way is 8-9 hours...

On Saturday on Košuta - on Veliki vrh and Kladivo. At first it looked a bit worse because of clouds hiding the ridge, but later it cleared up, so views across the ridge were wonderful. From Veliki vrh to Kladivo there are still some snow patches, which we can bypass on grass - but watch out, they slide too!

Report and more photos I posted on my website at the link: Košuta - Veliki vrh and Veliko Kladivo

On Friday I went to see the flooded Planinsko polje, also visited Planinska gora. The scenes around here are currently really stunning and hardly believable - on the blog I wrote a few sentences and posted photos.
