Another afternoon-night hike.
A colleague who lives in Kal nad Kanalom invited us and suggested we go to Lašček.
Lašček is considered the highest peak of the Banjska Plateau with its 1071 m. It offers nice views of the Julian Alps with Triglav, Friuli and the Julian Karst, Šentviška and Trnovska plateaus, to the south even the Gulf of Trieste.
After work at 17.00 we drove a bit further from Kal nad Kanalom to the starting point, took some pics while there was still daylight, then headed right on the forest path. The path is nice, marked, snowy all the way to the top.
Well, when we reached the summit it was already dark but we enjoyed it anyway
We decided to repeat it and next time also look around from the top, cheers, best

19th stage Marano Lagunare-Santuario di Castelmonte for 35 km also into Slovenia.
Organizers of 105th Tour of Italy announced varied stages of next pink race, including 19th stage which Friday May 27 2022 turns to Posočje and leaves Slovenia after 10-km ascent with nearly 10% average to Kolovrat.

can someone tell me how the path to Nanos from the Vojkovo hunting hut or from Lozice is? is it nicely marked, trodden?

has anyone been up these two paths these days? does anyone have some route suggestion?

lepenatka, I also enjoyed that unforgettable pleasurable day, I'm glad and full of yet another wonderful acquaintance - you two and the mountain we ascended with full respect and descended with even greater respect, this is our queen

Morning promised a nice sunny day and from the Ledine hut I descended via Savinja saddle on the path to Okrešelj hut, but only to the junction and left to Mrzla gora, where my interesting perfect day started...
The path first started on a grassy trail, then transitioned to a rocky and sandy path and thus led us to the walls, where we geared up with helmets, stowed the poles and started scrambling. Mrzla gora is mysterious, justifiably not too visited, but beautiful and concentratedly demanding. Of course I had nice company in the walls, also first-timers like me that day. Together, slowly and carefully we reached the summit, the feelings that overwhelmed us were beautiful. After meditative soaking up the beauty from the top we descended carefully and slowly. Here mistakes are not allowed, so caution...

- dear people, go to mountains and enjoy
- be positive, let mountains give inner peace and calm...
- answer smart and stupid questions, whatever...
- don't burden with nonsense...

Can someone tell if the road from Lago del Predil to Sella Nevea is open? We drove past recently, saw signs road closed, don't know if partial or full closure?
