They have it in the hut, but none on the summit.

Above 2000m light snowfall, fog and cold wind, mainly winter conditions. Below 1700m autumn weather.

On 29.12 we started the path to Dobratsch from Rosstrate parking. The road is icy and slightly snowy on some shaded sections, but no problem with winter tires. After an hour and a half of easy and scenic hike we reached the top, from which the view opened in all directions. The view of our Julian Alps is really nice too. There were huge crowds, lots of skiers and sledders. The hut was cozy with good food too. It's an easily accessible 2000er, worth visiting. Regards

Today it was open, yeah, it didn't seem expensive to me, I just don't know if it's not also a bit influenced by skiing in France

Yeah they don't flush with water, have vacuum system that sucks the stuff....

This time I chose Dobratsch, no toll, road is plowed, on return even sprinkled with sand from parking lot all the way to top of Dobratsch there is trodden path, path drags a bit to the top but views are divine and we can be proud of our mountains because they are wonderful. Of course very cold at parking lot but I prepared well, on top a bit breezy, track was made to the cross, a bit dangerous but with caution to the cross, taking pics and pics then time to go, this time skip the hut as I have another tour planned in Slovenia and decide for ascent towards Trupejevo polje, turned back higher too much sinking, back to start and to Vosca, more in another thread.

......Our almost obligatory annual winter hike. Path as always well groomed. Unfortunately fog and strong wind at the top. A bit lower wonderful views. On return met lots of people. Quite a few on skis, lower part mostly sledding. Also lots on four paws. Nice day for all who chose Dobratsch yesterday...

Last visit to Dobratsch was in very poor visibility, thick fog and cold wind. This time just the opposite
