Left one looks more pony-like. Right one is a crossbreed.

Oh, a trifle @darinka4 a few years ago I watched a show about these horses. Only nice things they said about them. Among other things also that due to their special gait and calm nature they are very suitable for riding by children with motor difficulties.

ločanka, darinka4 and pikica1 Since we're just on the subject of horses. And since these are times when laughter is scarce. When girls are young, they dream of a prince on a white horse. When they grow up, they often get just a horse, and that one isn't even white

Today my wish came true. What a beauty. He even stopped and waited for me to photograph him. Twice.

I'll write it here so I don't bother our Golava. I've already stuck a topic about neighboring hiking points under it . reply to user j.: True, wild boars churn up the ground like that, usually making an even bigger mess I'm no special hero in contact with wild boars, so I've already climbed a tree. Not because of their behavior (in this case mom with young), but because of my fear and protection (the encounter became quite unpleasant because I surprised them in thicket and steep slope and mom started circling my location and decisively chasing me away). Although they are the wild version, it's similar to the domestic pig, an intelligent animal that usually judges for itself if you're dangerous to it, so I rather don't underestimate it. Mostly they retreat quickly and you only see their shadow among low bushes. Usually I encounter animals during the day because as a hobby I explore remote natural areas (there such encounters are probably more frequent and you often run into entire herds of game). But since the mentioned part I described at Golava is really wilderness where paths are often missing (in steep slope it's hard to find a suitable location to retreat) or there's an extensive hidden hunting feeder that animals are used to, I preferred to write a warning in advance. Regards

I'll move it from Golava here too, where the debate about wild boars really belongs more. So far we've had quite a few fleeting encounters with wild boars but without problems. We stopped a bit, they continued their way. But they are really fast animals and if they run it feels like the ground is shaking. A few days ago we met three wild pigs with about 10-12 tiny piglets on Golovec. There are quite a few also around Krim.
