Beautiful, darinka. You've become such a part of the mountain nature that marmots are already greeting you.

Fox at the parking lot on Planina Blato. Behaves like some dog. Comes almost up to you and waits for treats. Don't know if it's really smart for people to feed it and get it used to that.

Don't trust foxes. You know that one, that it's a cunning beast ... Once in the evening it took a slipper from in front of the weekend house door. Who was it? Not Oči. The other one wasn't there that evening. In the morning I find the slipper a few meters away under the embankment. The upper part of the slipper was bitten off. Then my sister advised me over the phone to check if there's some dead fox around there

Poor chamois, if I see right it has a rusty tin can stuck on its snout. Good indicator how nature suffers from human negligence. It'll die of hunger if it can't get it off. Can't chew grass like that.

Exactly. Question is how long it's been carrying it, saliva was drooling from its snout...

You can see in the picture that saliva is forcing out from its snout because it can't swallow it. The mother is a goddess. If she goes with her hooves from behind to get it off it probably hurts and then she stops. And she has this year's fawn with her. This is sad.

Hello. I registered on the forum just to give you info what to do with an injured chamois (info found on the net: call 112, give location, they call the hunting association, who goes to check the animal... will someone do it tomorrow, if not I'll call from Lj myself. I have the location info only from the user who (thanks a lot!) posted photos of the injured animal.

Hi Anjetka! Best to write a private message to the user who posted the photos, so you agree who calls, to avoid too many calls to the center. You're super for inquiring! Best, Zoran

Or if they turned directly to the hunting ground manager, who in this case is TNP? Well now they were probably already notified.
