Tadej, your bird is also a puzzle. Maybe it's a young hawfinch, question for the Ornithologist

Hey, hello, ločanka reasons correctly, above is a young hawfinch. Heinz, you also correctly identified the sand martin. Hats off for the krekovt photo

Wonderful! Where did you photograph them, maybe on Toscu? It's really interesting that they didn't flee

I always stand so they can see me well, then they're not scared. And no quick movements and it's all good. Sometimes they don't want to be photographed, then I leave them be, don't stalk them. Then next time I tell myself Thanks for the praise @ločanka

No. 3 is definitely nuthatch, as it comes to our garden too. Very lively birdie that often runs down the trunk head-down. From the bird feeder it takes seeds and often stuffs them into cracks in the trunk. Interesting to watch how tits steal its supplies then. On the first picture (I checked the book) it's probably crested tit. For 2nd picture I don't know. Lp

Hi, @Pikica1, on which mountain did you photograph white wagtails? @heinz, on your photo is northern wheatear. @djimuzl, you captured crested tit, blackcap (female or young bird) and nuthatch. Nuthatch is the only species here that can climb head-down. All nice pics, I look at them gladly! lp

Heinz, this is the Ortolan Bunting. In Slo it's quite a rare breeder (only in mountains), on migration regularly seen lower, esp. on fields and along tracks where it seeks food.
