Unnamed 761-meter peak in the Boč and Plešivec landscape park primary goal of short hiking activity from Studenice and back to Studenice. Peak located southeast of Gavez homestead and hunters' home LD Rogaška Slatina in Rogaška part of Boč/Plešivec. Yeah, could easily be Gavez peak but even on special maps unnamed. Today second time on it, years ago with mountain bike. Forest track leads practically to summit in final part. Forest-covered, still excellent view of 978-meter Boč peak possible. Route was Stara Drevesnica and Formila clearing. Paths dry today, pleasant temperature and mostly sunny...

Afternoon easy ,,hike,, from Studenice higher into Boč world up to 600m and a few more meters. Along old Roman road by the spring/sources of Studeniški/Topli stream and continuing on Studeniška path to Boč. On Studeniška path to Boč to junction/crossroads with ridge path to Boč summit from Podboč settlement. Short stop at junction, turnaround and back to Studenice on identical route. Trees have mostly ,,dropped,, leaves, especially beech which dominates here...Path dry, shady/sunny, no wind...Lp

Midday mini hike to Boč to hunters' lookout under Kisovec and few dozen meters extra to highest point of mountain path from Formila clearing for Makole. Snow line somewhere above junction in Stara Drevesnica, Formila clearing snow-covered...5 maybe 7 cm snow. Raining in Studenice, higher at Formila sunny day...Return to valley on ascent route...Boč/under Kisovec, 22.11.2015 Best regards!

Mornings during the week for recreational activities practically an exception. Reserved afternoons and weekends. Today  time was found and it was a pleasant combination of bike and hiking step. From Poljčane to Studenice center via a weave of several thematic paths with mountain bike. From Studenice continuing at hiking pace on Studeniška path to Boč to junction between Stara Drevesnica and Lajše area. Would have gone higher for sure but time-limited. Cold, temperature below freezing and here and there some lone snowflake for pleasant impression. Path mostly dry, on exposed spots partly muddy. Today, Tuesday 01.12.2015, according to meteorologists the first winter day. At +12 positive Celsius it was definitely proper autumn. Hiking from Studenice. Shortly after noon. First and second part of the old Roman road. The second part is distinctly full of fallen trees and hard to pass. It cuts sharply under the western part of Golnik peak. No visits here, maybe someone strays in now and then. Directly under Formila junction onto clearing, a few hundred meters higher on the forest road and return downhill via junction in Stara Drevesnica to Studenice. Grounds dry, between clear and cloudy weather with some light wind it was...Boč above Studenice,01.12.2015 Best regards!

Exceptionally using parking lot and start of hiking trails in Zgornje Poljčane as starting point for Boč trail. Mainly Studenice and Podboč. Today starting point in Zgornje Poljčane. Hiking, after first part of hiking trail over Baba. Then on asphalt connection to pasque flower site and from there on hiking trail to area and also top of 658m high Galka. Return along ridge crest of Galka, which allows in a few dozen meters view to Dravinja valley and also Sotla. Also somewhere watershed of both rivers. Boč quickly shook off fog while in both valleys it more or less persisted. More pronounced in Sotla valley. Stavski/Thick peak at 777m primary goal short hiking activity higher into Boč world from Studenice. Among locals better known as "Stavšek". Second time only today on its summit. Approach in end typical ridge-like in rock and stones. Quite some orientation needed. Marked trail does not lead to summit. Partly forest track and in end pathless. Directly below it two hunting blinds. Typical "hunters'" peak and in some past years also extensive beech felling, luckily not quite to summit. Whole trail in interesting loop, along trail some important Boč points. Below in Dravinja river valley fog persisted all day, higher sun and nice on fourth Advent Sunday day, trail dry...Stavski peak777/Boč, 20.12.2015 Regards

Basic goal short activity higher into Boč world, 623m high Golnik peak. Directly above hunters' hut LD Poljčane. Often directly below summit, today for variety of short hike summit as goal. Third, maybe fourth time on summit. Activity somewhat extended via Hrastovec junction under Boč and meadow clearing Formila into loop shape. Highest trail point measured at 701m on saddle between Kisovec and Stavski peak and there also somewhere fog boundary. Golnik summit no views, no marked trail to it, but easily orientation-accessible. Cloudy, temperature slightly above freezing, no wind on dry trails. After snowfall in past days today hiking to Boč. Was willing for some approach in snow, unfortunately no time. From Studenice to start of Lajše area on Boč in combination Old Roman road and Studenice trail to Boč and back. Up to 15cm snow and as first I plowed through Studenice trail to Boč. Made some modest trail also for three, four running friends who occasionally use this approach higher into Boč world. In Dravinja river valley below already quite thaw while on Boč area still northeast weather type and no wind today...Lajše/Boč area above Studenice after snowfall, 07.01.2016 and Garmin Connect/course Regards

Today some hiking activity across the width of Boč from Studenice in combination Old Roman road and Studenice trail to Boč all the way to the junction or split with Detiček hiking trail from Zgornje Poljčane and back. ,,Cut across,, some ridges more paths than trails along ridges and also inter-ridge to Boč summit. Today turned at junction with Detiček, could easily extend also to junction with Baba or asphalt road toward mountain hut... Yes this too is Boč world and equally interesting. Trail partly wet and muddy, clear, no snow and no wind either...Boč/from Studenice combo Old Roman road and Studenice trail to Boč to junction with Detiček hiking trail and back, 13.01.2016 Regards

For recreation today a late hour was allocated. Afternoon from Studenice higher into Boč world hiking something relatively short. Decision for the north part of 734 meters high Kisovec. From hunters' hut LD Poljčane at Golnik left onto a few years ago ,,cut,, new forest track. Never been active here before and it was a pleasant walk into the unknown on the frozen track. Fairly sharply cut into Kisovec and after pleasant continuation as expected junction with hiking trail from Makole to Boč. From there descent toward Hrastovec junction under Boč and back to Studenice. Definitely will use this connecting track sometime, sufficiently dynamic maybe also with mountain bike...There were a few millimeters of snow on parts of the trail and icy cold for some winter touch in north part of Boč without sun...North area of 734 meters high Kisovec on Boč from and to Studenice,17.01.2016

Bravo...Interesting and definitely varied route with nice photos. Was there at Saturday snow shower snow for sample/mm, two maybe three but still holds in northern exposures! Regards
