If you were on Ciprnik, you're still quite a way from a two-thousander. Slemenova špica isn't one either.

Probably two different trips. But after opening the municipalities I also heard clever thoughts right on the way to Ciprnik about how now all kinds of weirdoes and instant mountaineers will go to the mountains. The guy even had some chocolate around his mouth, so I really got hooked and barely dared to greet the experienced master with two (similarly) clueless chicks. Which group did he put me in? So Ciprnik is obviously really a trip for labeling... and not even a two-thousander

This week I just have luck that I can do a different tour every day around Kranjska Gora. 
Today on Šitni glavi, the mentioned lonely two-thousander.
I'd write more under the right topic, but I'm afraid some phrase of mine would trigger unexpected reactions......

Today first time on this viewpoint. And what one!! Saw pictures, read descriptions, but when you're live up here...phenomenal
Start from Jasna, to Mojčina koča and on to the goal. Back on path to Bedančeva koča and then to Kr. Gora on ski slopes. and then across part of town to start, where it was just right to dip feet and head in Pišnica.
Path nicely marked; the one from Jasna has some shortcuts, but from junction (option to turn to Bedančeva koča (cca. at 1100m)) to Mojčina koča really knee-biting! Didn't expect such steepness, though I've circled some "hillocks". Was a bit out of breath. 
From M. hut to Ciprnik also nice, non-strenuous and nicely marked path. When I got up, had the summit more than an hour to myself, then first "pursuers" came.
On summit really tons of ants and once they notice you exist, can't shake them off, hehehe!
Views: from complete Martuljek group with Škrlatica leading, to Stenar, Triglav, Razor, Prisojnik, Mojstrovke, Slemen. špica, Jalovec with Tamar, Ponc (+Planica) and shy tip of Mangart peak. In short almost all that's important in Julians! Missing only my beloved Kanjavec

After twelve years finally back to Ciprnik. Back then with two-month puppy from Planica to Ciprnik and descent to Kranjska Gora. Now 1,000m ascent too much for the doggy, but not for four hikers. This time from Jasna towards Mojčin dom, at start pleasant path, then steeper ascent. But we got real blue sky and super views. After short break at Primož's, we went to Ciprnik, a bit up, a bit down, some cables and gorgeous on top...Enjoyed views of the Julian Alps - from Špik, Škrlatica, even Triglav, Razor, Prisojnik. And Robičje and Slemenova špica, behind Mojstrovke and of course Jalovec. And Ponce with jumps. Višarje, Ojstrnik and Dobač. Karavanke, Peč-tromeja, all to Kepa and Dovška baba.
Excellent guide Primož and keeper of Mojčin dom takes great care of hut, surroundings, girls couldn't praise enough the excellent goulash. All worth praise. Paradise for lounging in lounger in front of hut. This time descent past Bedančeva koča, partly ski slope, partly bike path to Kranjska Gora. It was scorching and descent more strenuous than on soft forest path. On way to Jasna refreshed with water. Kranjska Gora and Jasna beautiful gem. Final thought at Aljaž in Dovje. Wonderful day spent, our mountain flower knows where and when...

Has anyone been to Ciprnik these days and would share conditions? Mainly interested in how dry the path via Bedančeva koča to Mojčin dom and then on. Thanks in advance!

The trail was without any special features, but it's not entirely innocent regarding the ascent. Towards the summit we find "cables" which are not superfluous, especially on descent (I helped myself a bit). Almost the whole trail is on a forest path, which comes in very handy if you don't start early in the morning.
On the trail we met two chamois, so I still recommend a bit of caution because they were triggering rocks at us.
The view from the top is phenomenal and it rewards all the effort we put into the ascent.

After a bit more than a year, up again, but this time I took my daughter to visit this wonderful viewpoint, who at her 5 and a half years coped very confidently with the ascent and the last cables before the summit
Trail from Kr. G., past Mojčina koča, where the extremely friendly keeper treated us to tea and waffles, and for the way back we already ordered schnapps for the daughter and sausage for dad, hehehe Everything excellent, tasty and pocket-friendly. Hats off!!
Trail without features, from Vitranc summit towards Ciprnik there are some new direction signs. And lots of dried spruces. I don't remember that from last year... Hope it's not bark beetle!

On the way back, as icing on the cake, descent on a sled and excited screaming of the young hiker during the ride.

Does anyone know how it is with paying for parking at Jasna, or is the upper one also paid?

Lubadar, in summer I parked opposite that big parking lot at Jasna, so the upper one, across the street where no payment is needed, and it was all OK. I think it's also marked that you can park, but no parking meters on those lots.
