Lots has been written about Clean Peak. For me the best viewpoint above Trenta, most solitary and most romantic setting, and close too. More than enough reasons to visit when time is short. I go along the "sunny" road which was in shade all the way, in Polog a bit above the forest hut I turn up through the forest, catch a trail and follow it to Planina v Plazeh. That everything was still untouched goes without saying and that's what I like best. Above the forest it was windblown of course, but still enough snow to ski up with skins to the summit. There, what to write, you have to go and see. Today almost perfect . Skiing down wasn't bad, made it to the car. For walkers, I mean those without skis and crampons, I don't know, probably sink deep occasionally.

No views that Clean Peak usually promises today. We knew that beforehand before heading out into the cold windy day. But swirling in snowfall can be provenly quite romantic.
Otherwise for the tour description I can just sign under Igor's above report. Snow conditions haven't changed much except some new, mostly windblown snow.
Need to repeat in nice weather. Maybe even multiple times!

After work, one afternoon trip. Neighbor already during the drive to Na Skalo tells me that the track is partially done, and indeed it went nicely to where the track turned up towards Velika Tičarica. From there about 40 cm of new snow on dry base in shade, in sun snow somewhat softened. Summit part mostly blown clean, so a bit easier, still sank deep. Descent in shade powdery, in sun slightly crusty, forest mixed, road best on track. View excellent, surroundings fascinating, Čisti vrh pure tenderness of beauty and silence. Like this on a winter evening especially romantic.

Yesterday one midday. Path fully dry, no flowers yet but will be. Descent to Ravni dol.

Read a lot about this peak. Mainly Igor's posts led us to explore these areas a bit. Enthused, solitude, peace, colors, path finding. Worth visiting for trail followers.

I can't write much new about Clean Peak. Just that it's winter up there now, snow is possible at the first barrier as well as the second, there's snow all along the road with some short dry sections. At Planina v Plazeh it's over half a meter. Best with skis. Well, yesterday was a really nice winter day.

When the Trentarske mountains call, there's no choice but to respond. And Clean Peak was a good choice yesterday.
As usual, starting point at the first lonely barrier. The path is adorned with very rare flowers. But the beeches are in lush green spring colors. The first snowfield is over Suhi potok, which loudly announces itself from under the snow into the lonely silence accompanied by birdsong. There's some snow on the path I crossed, in it bear tracks  leading to Ravni dol. Hm, not a pleasant feeling, but I console myself that it went before me  .
Further past Planina v Plazeh, turn left, then snow again. Locally the path is snowy, locally dry. Only the top snow layer breaks through, the bottom is hard.
The summit receives me in solitude with black-and-white views. It got cold and there was a light snowfall. Return by the ascent path.
In the valley, detour to the spring of the clear mountain daughter, which is very lively now, and to Lepena in Šunikov water grove.

Valesa and Ločanka, please tell how the path to Clean Peak is; it writes that it's unmarked.
Can the path be found by the description on hrbi.net without major problems? Thanks for the answer.

Correct, the path to Clean Peak is unmarked. I was up there for the first time when there was still quite a lot of snow and the path was not visible. I went as I described in the first post.
When dry, the path is well traceable. The descriptions and pics on the forum are clear. Well, a bit of orientation and sense for unmarked paths is needed. The path is nowhere exposed.
If you're lucky, you can meet some horned, slithering or furry local ;-) I saw only slithering ones, from furry only tracks.

The descriptions here on the forum are very clear (see first page-Triglavski), but I still have to go to Ravni dol once more. Prle in his book Moje gore says that it's one of the most beautiful corners for him there.
Velesa, you'll surely know how to get there, right?

That end is the WHOLE MOST BEAUTIFUL CORNER .
I know, I know how to get there. But I also know someone who knows these places much, much better than me - Igor, who has the most posts in this thread

Last autumn I went from that bend (barrier) to Velika Tičarica and Clean Peak; at the shelter, when I spotted the hut on the pasture in the distance too, I went into the spruce forest and followed the faint path to the muddy clearing. Continuing, I found the path again on the left side and followed it. Below the ridge is a large meadow, around dwarf pines, larches; there I went upwards to one peak, descended a bit and went along the path to Velika Tičarica, dwarf pines trimmed. On return I descended below the dwarf pine line and went among larches (pathless) to the path going to Clean Peak. This path from the alpine pasture to Clean Peak was once a mule track, marked; now it is no longer marked. I think it's pretty hard to get lost; nice viewpoint, solitude, peace and clean.

I also went left at the shelter once. But below the Tičarica peak I came upon a path that veered left toward the valley, to the right it got lost. After a few failed attempts I headed into battle with the bushes and won by reaching the Tičarica garden and then to Clean Peak. Need to repeat the search for the right passages.

I think everyone who goes to V. Tičarica gets a little lost or as I call it, it's pathless and you search for the path.
