Mojca, the path to Cjajnik (D) is one grade harder than the OTK ascent to Koš. turn (C). The descent is also very demanding. If the rock is wet, better turn back from below. From Koschuta Haus it's no longer than to Košutnikov turn.

Joži (68 years) decides on Cjajnik before heading to the sea.
When he tells me, he already knows I'll go along.
In the morning the cop in Železna Kapli already shows us three fingers (30 limit).
On the scree the sun burns "crazy". We drag ourselves towards the wall with three Austrian guys. Sweat pours over us and drips on the scree.
The guys are a bit over 40 and look very sporty types. Laughter and playfulness accompany them all the time.
Under the wall we start gearing up and surprisingly I notice they're teaching one of them how to clip the Y set.
We wait a bit so not to crowd and grit showers us already rattling on the helmet.
We climb slowly and I take lots of photos.
It's not that hard and on many parts of the route I don't even clip and listen to Joži's criticisms.
The guys ahead progress fast and keep laughing non-stop.
We climb without issues and no heavy hauling on the rope.
Then comes the rubble and mess.
From above still lots of laughter.
When we reach the fork - vertical - right I ask Joži where?
Right!!
This variant isn't easy either!!
And the guys are already returning from the top and descending the path leading to the ridge and further to Košutnik.
We agree a bit on the order and notice how the guy they were teaching gets dangerously tangled in the sling (in the photo).
When we warn him again bursts of laughter....I admire him!!
Summit!
little space (won't fit a whole bus of hikers up there!! )
Sun "burns" and we descend back the same way.
Technically a bit harder, but quickly down (us round trip in 5 hours )
Towards the end of the path (when the approach scree is already visible) we already feel fatigue in our arms. But hey we're still young (53,68 years) We descend even faster and cheat a bit.
The scree tortures us again and destroys VIBRAM!
then water, washing and a fresh pint...
Regards
We are already over Pavličevo sedlo.1
All eyes and cameras fixed on the wall - just a bit more then for real!2
Well, let's go...3
Long traverse4
Mother, how she's sweating!!5
Group rest for refreshment6
It's barely going over the nails but he won't...7
Jože doesn't want to... he's a good mountaineer!!8
The guys are already rushing down9
With left foot a bit dangerously slips...10
The slab is not big11
Up to our butts we were both white from scree dust12

hi. 10.7. we did the whole loop via Cjajnik up and Turn down and it was super interesting. not too hard (since I'm not much of an alpinist) nor too easy (so it's worth the trip). my opinion is it's an extremely interesting tour for a recreational athlete with some mountain experience. and the owner below in the hut has excellent draft beer-which counts too. lp

That's it! Not too hard and not to underestimate!! Some new experience...
Yes, beer after this tour is just the best!
You wash at the trough with ice-cold water, pack gear and sit on the bench....what more could you want?

This time yesterday late afternoon I went alone to see the almost epically sung climbing route. I admit I'd be pretty disappointed without that D- part on top, the dot on the i is the descent on C-, so I can only say: "Much noise..." Now seriously. Definitely fun scrambling, but it's true the path is quite forced. On natural passages it'd be easier on my soul and more authentic. Descent down the eastern gully is equal.

Well yeah, I think like Benjamin too, missing natural passages so looks more forced to catch those steep ones. For that we go to Kopiskarjevo, some Hanzovo or similar. Otherwise views still nice to Austrian Carinthia.
steep passage. Vibram holds well1

urbancek-me againvelik nasmeh on this "lojtrci", you have wire above head to clip in, bit awkward at start for "little ones". Wire high then lowers.
