Hello! Wonder if anyone has hiked this path from Ljubelj via Košutica and Hajnževo sedlo to Veliki vrh and on to Košutnikov Turn. I'll go this weekend, 29 and 30.6., if the weather is really as nice as forecast, to explore this path for two days of course; would anyone join who knows it???

If nice weather you can't go wrong.. Today I was at Košutica and Veliki vrh. Path well marked, protections ok. Path possible to hike in one day if you start early and arrange transport from parking under Dolga njiva. When you reach Veliki vrh only ridge path awaits you, you can't go anywhere else. If for two days then sleeping will be a problem. Huts are too early at the path start, don't know other accommodations.

Koschutahaus (Hut under Košuta) - Larchenturm (Cjajnik) - Užnik - along Košuta ridge - Košutnikov Turn - down "over bridge" to scree - Koschutahaus This fairly demanding ferrata (spots C and D on Austrian scale A to E) requires over Cjajnik and for descent from Košuta ridge below Košutnikov Turn down "over bridge" to scree above Koschutahaus a mandatory self-belay kit, helmet and good gloves too, plus quite some fitness and such practice. Today the ferrata was quite well visited, otherwise path without issues, protections ok, although many would expect more pegs and brackets on such a path,... but if it were so, then it wouldn't be it anymore! Direction and path marks are also ok, although it would be good to add some more if doing the above-mentioned loop via Cjajnik and also visiting Košutnikov Turn.

Yesterday day for ,,feratanje,,. First Cjajnik and Košutnikov Turn, then to Železna kaplja and there ferrata too. Weather pleasant, morning somewhat cloudy, then sunny. Otherwise all paths OK, no peculiarities. Pleasure. A and J

First time on a via ferrata and I can only say craaaazy... - I'll go again. We started at Koschutahaus on Lehentur (Cjajnik) then to Užnik and along Košuta ridge to Košutnikov Turn, then across the adrenaline bridge for me, descent back to scree. Via ferrata without special features. During descent over bridge to scree it started raining lightly, so even more adrenaline. Met a group of young ladies from almost neighbors. Then also to see via ferrata in Železna kaplja...

Yesterday despite late start from hut under Košuta (at 9h), luckily not hot, so after 2 hours at top of Cjajnik. Great via ferrata, not for dizzy, need some arm strength, esp from left junction where friction with feet and pull up with hands. Descent to notch also adrenaline, Nina totally thrilled. Continuing on Košuta ridge pure pleasure, descent to bridge like a flash. For me most adrenaline walking over bridge, prefer rock something stable, so walked like on eggshells. When descended to wall base, sorry fun over. After good 5 hours back at car and this one of best via ferratas for us...LP

A few more unusual bridge crossing attempts . Interesting, all happened good week ago same day but different times. Must've been something in the air

No less unusual than someone building such bridge in mountains!

If anyone is heading to Cjajnik in these days, I would kindly ask for information about the conditions! Thanks and good luck!

I checked your pictures on the link, great photos, nice tour, good company. As seen from the pics, ice axe and crampons no longer needed, right? Good luck on all future tours too!
