The British never discontinued it and based their mass vaccination program largely on it. And as far as the implementation of vaccination is concerned, I think we should look more to the British than to the Germans. The British carried it out quite effectively, the Germans are mostly just arguing. This very fact makes me think that the obsessive emphasis on individual cases of complications with the AZ vaccine is mainly revenge by the EU for breaching agreements and unreliable vaccine supply. That's of course all reprehensible, but it says nothing about the safety and reliability of the vaccine itself.

But it seems unusual to me that I know a huge number of people infected with covid, that I don't know anyone dead from covid, only one person who needed medical help and a whole bunch of people vaccinated with AZ, who all usually had unusual side effects (chills, fever 39+, excessive sweating). And I can say that the situation is the same among acquaintances with whom we share experiences. People haven't been vaccinated for some disease for the first time. The side effects are quite unique. And of course, don't forget, all covid vaccines and gene therapies are experimental, permitted exclusively for reasons of "necessity". Such vaccines would never be permitted for use in normal circumstances. The British didn't discontinue it because it's English. If they did, everyone would

Those statements, @Becar actually didn't grow in the garden of our profession and politics, but have been known for quite some time. They probably cited them to convince people to get vaccinated with AZ, which would otherwise remain and be rejected. Behind this 'conspiracy' against AZ, it should be more Pfizer and Moderna than the EU, because AZ was too fierce a competitor with vaccine price (7 EUR per dose, Pfizer 25 EUR) and 'eater' of profits. As for Johnson, the Danes and many others are really exaggerating. Štrukelj says one death per million is the norm for every vaccine and they teach that to students at faculty. In America, with 7 million vaccinated, barely three deaths. And one more thing: given how quickly the vaccines were developed and that they are still in experimental use, such a number of complications and deaths is still very acceptable. What worries me, however, are the long-term consequences, which even Štrukelj says are unknown.

Even if the vaccines were 100% effective and without any side effects, you don't need to get vaccinated if you're not a risk group. Just heard on the radio that Pfizer developed a vaccine suitable for 12-15 year olds. That's horrifying to me. We haven't talked yet about the Koper court's decision that people shouldn't be fined for not using masks. This will now become a precedent and all who got fines can sue the state. But this really upset our health experts. So Mateja stated she hopes it's a legal error, how masks are healthy and similar standard repertoire. Wouldn't it be right for the health profession not to interfere in the work of independent courts? Doesn't this remind of mafia-like action? She should keep pushing covid propaganda, human rights leave to court decisions. Just like everyone jumped up when the church interfered in politics, it should be the same now. Mind healthcare, the rest doesn't concern you.

I absolutely agree with that last one. This absolutization of medical discourse has really crossed all boundaries and that the legal justification for mandatory mask wearing is downright ridiculous, some of us knew from the very beginning. Deviating from the basic principles of the rule of law and legal procedure in the name of any higher goals can have very serious consequences. Anyone who has ever studied the genesis of any totalitarian regime will tell you.

There's nothing wrong with wearing masks, our government just implemented this measure legally inadequately and now opponents of wearing (and 'national traitors' of course ) are exploiting that loophole. Now we're just waiting for some judicial 'cutie' to apologize to someone, like to that student. I think no judge has ever apologized to anyone when overturning a lower authority's decision (in this case police), because that would be shaming it. Authorities are simply infallible. Although in this case the lower authority decided quite correctly and lawfully.

"There's nothing wrong with wearing masks, our government just implemented this measure legally inadequately" Have they ever done anything legally correctly so far? The dismissed police minister publicly marvels when he hears there's an Official Gazette. Not to mention his boss who doesn't even know how to open letters. "Although in this case the lower authority decided quite correctly and lawfully." Actually, even more "lower authorities" decided correctly and lawfully and put the criminal behind bars. Then the Constitutional Court released him...

Hmm, fine for not wearing mask annulled. That's ok. I agree with that. Probably some protester case outside somewhere... But some go even further and even encourage entering stores without masks... That's a call that far exceeds even Janša's stupid tweets... And from a recognized lawyer? God help him... Today someone in Grosuplje paraded in front of a store with a pistol and no mask... They took him to psychiatry.

VanSims, fascists probably haven't seen even the Vienna court's decision on movement restrictions and inadequacy of PCR tests or say Belgian court on restaurant closures or say court of German Thuringia, or Texas revocation of mask use... In anticipation of Nuremberg trial 2.0 for crimes against humanity, you'll need to look around the world a bit, and get your head out of that fascist hole

The government will, no worries, quickly prepare a new decree that will be legally valid. Now, if no retroactive punishment, no problem: most didn't know about this government slip-up and wore masks (those who didn't, mostly didn't because they knew about it), the point of any legal act (law, regulation, decree) is that it (at least somewhat) be respected. @Becar: you can see that no government is without mistakes, even in those revered western countries. The situation was urgent, had to act from today to tomorrow. Laws usually go through I don't know how many readings by lawyers then parliament, review in appropriate parliamentary body, (public) discussion, ... and even the president at the end at least glances at it before signing (or his legal service). That's why things rarely go wrong there. @Trobec: I wouldn't play political provocations again now. But if you insist: a judgment based on indictment: "At unknown place, at unknown time ...", which any judge in any rule of law would reject outright and tell the prosecutor to do better or drop the case, is maybe formally-legally valid (legal), but at least in my opinion not legitimate.

Now Mateja has taken on even innkeepers, if it was acceptable for cable car operators, it will be for you too... I see we're really not far from Dr. Mengele anymore. But now the covid mafia is humiliating the people everywhere? That Trbovlje doctor who was highly rated for the next Bojana has completely gone off the rails. The miner's statue says it reminds her of Stalin's statue And then wonders about repeated vandalism at her practice. Some really provoke and then wonder how that's possible. That someone would ask themselves if there's something wrong with me that this happens..... NOOOOOOO not that. If Mateja and Bojana can't even agree on the effectiveness between individual vaccines, they should rather go wash dishes and with that act redeem the nation.

It's always best to put the pros and cons on the table and let people decide for themselves! Of course, vaccination should also allow the individual to decide which vaccine they want to get! As long as all those connected with the vaccine and vaccination and decisions around it only force people into vaccination because of profiteering there is no success! and that's right! they produce a virus that is supposed to basically clear the elderly from the world so that capitalists have only diligent labor force then we know where we stand!

@VanSims political provocations started with a very subjective evaluation of which body did right, which did not. Some reference that Tvito was imprisoned illegitimately is a similar absurdity as claiming that Dolfet's human rights were violated because he had to hide in some stuffy bunker. With such criminals the only legitimate thing is that they are imprisoned. But there always appear some legal problems...

Hungary will be the first country with 3 deaths per thousand inhabitants. Situation in Hungary is still not calming down. People are pissed about the measures... Currently dying the most (per population) in Bosnia, followed by Hungary, Macedonia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Slovakia and Croatia... Country that has practically few or no cases is UK. They managed to completely contain the virus (considering the state they were in 2 months ago).
