magroman, it's been explained countless times, professionally and also "plainly". If you don't believe it, you don't, no problem. Just don't act, please, as if it hasn't been explained enough.

hahah You're a bit vaccinated. No it wasn't explained enough, that's the point. But if you believe what vaKACINO and Ivan tell you via the media, then of course there's a problem. best,

Here the problem is the term "explained". If you interpret it as the state when YOU AGREE with the explanation, that's of course a somewhat different meaning than usual.

Kacin and Janša are not experts and also not particularly capable speakers. I was more thinking of other sources that you can find if you want. There are as many explanations as you want. It's true that there might not be so many good ones in Slovenian.

@pantani1: given how we're holding the measures now and how mild they are now and we're just stagnating instead of the curve going up, it's obvious that vaccines are helping. And we're still far from the vaccination coverage that would stop the pandemic. @magro: @SamoK already told you, besides that, Kaco and Janša didn't explain this but experts like Štrukelj, Ihan, Fafangel, ... @SamoK: K&J are of course not experts in this field, but speakers they are quite good, especially Kaco, that has to be said.

VanSims - for Slovenian conditions, let's say no. But yesterday with Kacotu I was rolling my eyes all the time. Sometimes he's better, but often he's just pitiful. Janša is more consistent, dr.k injects him better while writing. In general, Slovenian politicians speak worse than farmers here in my area. Left and right and center and curly. Either they stutter, or they can't say one understandable sentence or both.

There they carried out the vaccination program quite well, the best in South America. But infections are still rising nicely. Because they have late autumn now. So, based on that, I'm somewhat afraid that the vaccine will help to some extent to calm the current wave, but in autumn we'll be back to the same. In short, if we just wait for a favorable moment to ease the measures, we won't ease them ever.

Haha that's a good one. Infections are falling because of vaccines. Have we maybe already forgotten from last year that the virus is seasonal? So, now we have a decline because of vaccines. And what will be the cause of the rise in November, in late autumn, as jax wrote for Chile? Probably the pumpkins who don't wear masks after masses and in their cars.

Well, for this about the seasonal virus we'll have to wait a bit more. Don't forget that last spring was quite, quite different from this one

Dr. Becar, if not the vaccine, what was the primary cause for the decline and calming of the situation in the UK? Maybe Brexit, because they finally became independent from the European covid mafia? @Zebdi: we can hope that covid-19 won't be such a seasonal occurrence as the JJ virus which has persisted for 30 years ... was that lockdown on Doba too short, if I mention alternative ways to eliminate the virus, I won't escape a letter from Matoz and more on top

Dr (Un)Conscious, difficult if there's no reason in the UK for the decline of a million protesters without masks in London about 14 days ago. Here 10,000 OF protesters. What do you say? Some of you are really funny. Not long ago you said the reason for the high number of infections is insufficient vaccination, although all risk groups were practically fully vaccinated. Now the reason for the low number of infections is vaccination. Maybe the vaccination of those 2000 graduates had an effect? And don't forget the event at DSO F.Salomon; 28 symptomatic infections, of which 26 people were twice vaccinated.

What a fiasco this is with the Seychelles! Well, actually this case says it all, I think no additional comment is needed. Of course, this tyranny of vaccination won't end. It will end when the people themselves make it end.

CHILE: per capita about half our infections, vaccinated three times more than us. This really isn't a favorable ratio, if we linearly interpolate, question if it's possible. The curve is now slightly declining, perhaps the vaccination effect is slowly showing. On the other hand, the climate there is quite harsh, from mountain to subpolar in the south, only a thin coastal strip enjoys mild Atlantic climate. They are considered some South American Switzerland (meaning Polish, Hungarian standard) but they are still Latin America and question how they follow measures, hygiene etc. Let's wait another month or two, until they get vaccinated somewhere and winter fully shows its teeth, then we'll see. SEYCHELLES: "Researchers in Brazil have estimated that the second Chinese vaccine, Sinovac's vaccine, is 50.4% effective." I think no additional comment is needed, but thank you for this link. Since Sinovac is made by the classical method (inactivated SARS-CoV-2 virus) and long-term effects of new methods are not yet known, I was thinking whether to get vaccinated with this vaccine when it comes. Well, thanks a lot. I'd get a vacation ticket and beer in the pub after the tour but I still expect at least some protection. Well, there is some, say the probability of a coin toss or betting on color at roulette. Since we're not in a casino after all, we'll have to wait for NovaVac, which is also based on the classical method. I hope EMA, which has now started the approval process for Sinovac, knows about this case.

VanSims, you didn't read properly. In the Seychelles they used Sinopharm and not Sinovac, as you say. Read the article again.

I apologize, but it's still useful information regarding Sinovac. Its own company director claimed it was 80-90% reliable, now Brazilians (say independent source) claim otherwise. Perhaps the story repeats with Sinopharm too and this island nation shows it now. That Chinese can't be trusted anyway. And with what did they vaccinate in Chile BTW?

We have a 36% drop in infections in one week. Where are Janez's hundreds of dead due to protests? #covidmafia So, protests are healing for covid, we can conclude. There are many of you who will still claim the virus isn't seasonal, then this is the only possible explanation. Truth is coming slowly but steadily to light. They locked us up for nothing and still do, plus the economic and social damage, not to mention human rights. Magna still hasn't recovered, top modern factory in Hoče stands idle, in Graz they shorten working hours.... LINK

@VanSims, effectiveness of Chinese vaccines is obviously at Astra level. There they initially talked about 68%, but with new strains it's lower. Which is of course completely logical, the virus is constantly "evolving" and looking for ways to bypass "locked doors". Here new vaccines (mRNA) have big advantage over "classical" ones. They provide better immunity, can have broader effect (against more strains) and the technological adaptation process to new strains is simpler and thus faster. The only problem is, we don't know long-term effects well. There shouldn't be any...but...until time actually passes, we can't know. And people are such that we don't like to put something into ourselves that might harm us. Much easier something we definitely know harms (tobacco, excessive alcohol, heavily processed industrial food,...)
