Protests are as healing for covid as covid is "healing" for reducing the number of traffic fatalities. Correlation or association of two variables doesn't mean causal connection.

I didn't think you guys were still so naive. I'm really having fun though. After so much evidence that private gatherings, protest marches, masks, restaurants, crafts etc... don't significantly affect the number of infections, some of you will still blame yourselves. I don't know @zavest, did some grandma abuse you that such nonsense goes through your head? I'll put it this way, you're the ones to blame for the "epidemic" still lasting, because the covid mafia twists you around their finger with incredible ease. You're like puppets.
I can't wait for October - November 2021, when you'll be the same loudmouths blaming yourselves again.
I'd also like to mention something. The pressure that the covid mafia is now exerting on the population for vaccination is already on the verge of rape. Wherever I look, the same idiots everywhere forcing people to get vaccinated. It's really annoying. What incredible engagement from these people! It's a miracle again. If the government and healthcare had been so engaged and diligent for people's health all those years before, we would really be another Switzerland, with the highest life expectancy etc. As I say, a miracle how suddenly such care for people! Because before, I would have been 100% sure that the rich and influential would vaccinate themselves and leave people alone.

Here you've made a mixed salad a la Becar - enlighten us, which factors then according to you affect the number of infections? Probably just one factor, namely what the covid mafia will order the duty reporters of numbers daily

One of these things is not like the other In Yugoslavia the army stopped you in the middle of the street and vaccinated you. Last time I checked, you have complete free will whether to get vaccinated or eventually get antibodies the natural way.
Just like you have free will to organize various trips and events exclusively for the unvaccinated. I'm sure there will be an incredible rush with the flood of your supporters ... surely there are 47 or 38 of them, just like those famous signatures for the dismissal of the DZ president

The matter is very simple, but maybe still too demanding for you. As long as people go to work, as long as schools, kindergartens are open, as long as shops are open etc.... there will be transmissions. And that will of course remain. There will be no transmissions if we all start living in isolation, which means the Middle Ages. All measures against the virus are just cosmetic additions.
Hm, interesting, no army stopped and vaccinated me in YU, nor my parents and grandparents. If maybe you.... hm maybe for a reason. But we see that even that wasn't effective.

If there are problems understanding the terms "contradictory statement" or "contradiction", we can give an even more understandable example.
Of course we expect you to shine again with some "your impartial" source how masks don't help at all in slowing down transmission of infections. Last time with huge reading and interpretation of numbers you showed yourself immensely, unfortunately in the wrong direction, but plus points for exceptional mental effort
About vaccination in Yugo:

@zavest: It might be true. I read (don't remember where) an interview with a retired Slovenian doctor who was sent to Kosovo back then with a few others to vaccinate.
Accompanied by police, they went house to house for whole days, even to remote backwoods villages. Sometimes they even searched houses to find someone who needed to be vaccinated. Especially women hid, who were there in some places still literally the property of husbands or families, so nothing before marriage ... Well, by the way, what kind of people we lived with in the common state ...
Even then there were obviously active antivaxxers, but they couldn't express their disagreement verbally in the dictatorship (and of course absence of internet) so one morning in Peć, when they wanted to head to the new vaccination day, they found slashed tires in front of the hotel.
That people back then, who practically still lived in the Middle Ages, didn't understand vaccination, one could still understand, but that today in a so-called civilized country they don't, is a bit harder to understand.

Since January I've been registered for vaccination both via eVem or eGovernment, via personal doctor and finally via the new super duper app for one and a half million. Waiting for the call, during which I'd happily pay the dose from my own pocket (well, in the end I will anyway, just more roundabout, like everyone else).
Just like you decided that vaccination against TBE is OK (and I've already got a few doses myself), for covid vaccine based on available information I've judged that the matter is safer for me and my loved ones with vaccines than without. In the family everyone who had the chance is vaccinated. I see no reason not to trust the experts and science. What various government speakers and politicians say about vaccines, I don't care much.
Side effects of vaccines are orders of magnitude rarer and milder than with the virus - completely the same story as with other vaccines or diseases.
Once again, you mix the debate about measures, effects and course of the epidemic and exploitation of the arisen crisis situation.
The paradox is that you yourself will significantly contribute to overcoming the covid mafia by getting vaccinated and in your way helping to stop the epidemic Because once (as soon as possible) it's done, the pocket filling and war profiteering will calm down too.

That vaccination will end this madness is a utopia. Once again I tell you and also I tell you, these are experimental vaccines with unknown long-term effects, so benefits against side effects are unknown to scientists as well as to you and me. From this very point of view, I consider it a crime to vaccinate children and other non-risk groups. I respect if you've decided, you'll be up soon anyway, but this mega forcing on us who won't get vaccinated really gets on my liver. I notice that for some unusual reason it's extremely hard to get data on the number of deaths by individual EU countries for 2020. So I started researching, I chose Germany as target, well nearby big country, someone else can try for another. Data on mortality by months I found here:

When I added up the monthly deaths, I got the number 985,996. Based on population 83,783,942 I calculated the so-called crude death rate, which is 11.76.
I plotted this number on the aforementioned graph from knoema:

The result might be surprising for some, not for me. The mortality rate also moved as expected in 2020. Germany has been recording annual increases since 2005. Similar, almost equal increase in deaths as in 2020 Germany had constantly in the period between 2008 and 2014.
Maybe now someone will better understand why these data are hidden for so long. Or maybe not
