Anyway, my stance is clear. Mountains are my home, hikers my family. Sadly I can't guarantee the cop will buy this explanation.

They'd cross regions despite the ban. Because of such careless people, the closure measures will remain relevant for a long time.

I have official proofs in the car because I live on a farm and they let us go for some agricultural around Slovenia. But it seems dumb to me to explain to some strangers from there where I'm going wtf? eek. I don't even tell at home. So for now I avoid main roads.

Yesterday I went to another municipality because I had something to sign at the notary. I had all the papers with me, if they stopped me, but no policeman was to be seen anywhere. It looks like ambushes. It's not pleasant to drive when you don't know where they are. I hope this all ends as soon as possible.

I won't go into what someone does or doesn't do. But once you see patients in isolation, in COVID loneliness, what poor wretches they are, also how their transfer inside the hospital looks (alarm,...), and what poor wretches the medical staff in hazmat suits are, you lose the desire to "fool around and want to be smarter" than others. Already a month ago it squeezed me when I saw how the COVID ward looks live, and then there wasn't even an epidemic yet. How it must be now... mrk pogled

I agree, Bojan.
"Obedient ones" will continue obeying, mountains will wait. Not the most important thing in the world now.
I'm surprised you still drive through green. Why not go to red? Oh, then you could affect yourselves too, not just others.

The virus spreads with contacts, not with movement. So the measure of closing in municipalities seems a bit far-fetched to me. Even harmful, because then folk in the home municipality groups more.

Otherwise I support government measures, though I think they came late and the thing could have been stopped earlier before it escalated like this, with maybe milder measures.

The other problem is of course people. At our yard you can see nicely - kids hang out undisturbed, play, bash football, where sometimes a slightly older kid joins them, adults chat in groups, keep distance or not, some have masks, mainly not. And that despite the fact that we are one of the more affected municipalities.

Before you didn't see so many. Municipalities are closed anyway!

I agree that the municipality closing measure achieved exactly the opposite effect. Last Saturday there were over a hundred people on Storžič, since it is the only two-thousander in the municipality. At the top it was impossible to keep safety distance. At least they should have left the regions and hikers would have distributed over the peaks. Now it's like going to a shopping center.zmeden

Not just that. The differences are now more than obvious. Some are first-class and can go anytime, since they live there. And post. High mountains I mean. Now many show themselves in their true light. I have nothing against them. Just the post bothers me as mockery to us all who also like to go but can't.

Yeah, just diligently post how many of you stand on which peak, they'll quickly ban going to the mountains like in spring.

Don't be so envious. Let them, they liven up and bring peaks closer to us too. And with posts and pics beautify these days that will soon be past. Maybe someone envies you too when you posted your feats and that often. But can't do them due to troubles, health or other, though would like. Not only older also young among them. Let's enjoy together with them and it'll be nicer for us!nasmeh

Majda, here it's not about envy at all but inequality. Taxes and bills we all pay. No differences. Here there are. Whoever is locked in a small municipality probably understands the whole thing better. But no sense writing about it anyway. Strange times....

Darinka, let's rather be happy that we're not sick yet. Inequality, taxes and bills have nothing to do with the virus and closed municipalities are because of that. How else can they draw the line? Bojan wrote nicely - Being a Covid patient is not easy. It will get better soon.nasmeh

Darinka, when you talk about inequality, you're not thinking that maybe where there are mountains, locals also deserve some peace. So they can visit their mountains without being occupied by cars from all corners. Those who don't make a living from tourism get nothing good from us.
Animals that we admire and photograph so much also deserve some peace.
Everything is good for something, even this Covid will change some people's thinking and change a lot for the better, not just take human lives.

Yooo, what fluff... Locals in the mountains live off tourists and all those valleys where tourism didn't develop for whatever reasons have long been emptied. Personally this summer and fall I consistently stopped at some inn near the mountains on most tours I did and treated myself to something to eat. And with that supported local innkeepers and jobs that had a really really tough season (and it will be even tougher). And yeah, immodestly I can say I contributed much more to the locals' well-being than now with this squatting in municipalities.
But true, if I now escape the municipality and go to the mountains, locals won't get anything from it. Because everything is closed anyway. Maybe I'll get coffee at Petrol.
