Otherwise yeah, not the healthcare staff burning out and exhausted these days, but us mountaineers are the biggest victims of this virus, because we'll be limited to our municipalities for a couple weeks. For my wife today her 6th day without smell and taste, for me 4th with some muscle pains on the second and third night of this strange feeling that's neither cold, nor flu, nor muscle. For now! Because this madness has taken away my job, hopefully only temporarily, worked in private sector 25.5 years, thank you all advocates nicely. Covid, if wife has it, employed in healthcare, devil that it follows me too, because we still sleep together for now. We take it all very, very positively, because no reason for anything else, because we're ok. Thank God for exceptions, so we can use them in remote Prleška village and refresh in the morning with arcijams, which we'd surely rather drink in the mountains at least on these nice days. Will report progress later, especially for those who like impressions, let each make their own. We're in our 50s. I think it's time we finally unite

As long as there are still private parties for various anniversaries (you see bonfires in villages with all kinds of round years), as long as not everyone starts taking care of themselves and others personally, we'll have problems.
Even those who were the most "smart" have already ended up on ventilators.
For now there are still enough of them.

Sadly, you can't go around fate. Gotta realize it ASAP, then fear will fade too. Life needs to be lived while it can.
As promised. Today our status is bp. She still has no taste, I can say for myself that I'm OK, with slightly reduced taste and smell and slightly stiff back like after catching a cold or straining it. Sneezing, coughing, sniffling, fever, none of that. I could easily do a 2K, especially in the sun, but sadly gotta deal with the institute for all papers.
And just my personal opinion on this plandemic.
Slovenes are quite considerate to each other, especially for VERY VERY SERIOUS stuff, even if now portrayed as least considerate. We have plenty of egoism too, like all. Obviously more people convinced things aren't as alarming as served, and measures do more harm than good. Who will some blame for infections when locked in apartments, obviously coming soon, will balcony parties between neighbors be infection reason then, and esp where's the limit to these restrictions? Disobedient camps follow! When big unemployment surge even in public sector comes, then debts and maybe hunger, then it's real, and then seen we damn know unite. God forbid. Frog's too long in pot. Currently still egoists.

@MitjaBelak - nice that you don't have a more serious form of this illness. But I have a neighbor who was already two months on sick leave last week. And he's not among older people. Quite a few got infected at their work and each had different symptoms.

I have a relative who had to be in coma, hasn't recovered yet. Probably doesn't wish for sun above 2K.

Mr Belak says we're egoists. Isn't egoism also judging the seriousness of some disease based on your symptoms? If you were on intensive care, you'd probably have a different opinion. All the best.

dragon, who cares that I'm symptom-free. You hit the point, yes. Egoism, yes. The important thing is that it doesn't hit me, that's what I wanted to say.
iUnknown, yes really, I've also heard similar stories from close friends and relatives, almost everyone knows some story, but sad matters are very gladly talked about extensively, positive stories are unfortunately only worth condemning. That's not OK.
dprap, yes, you're probably not the only one, not the first nor the last in this bad story, nothing to add.
primoza, I also don't care about the elderly, even foreigners, you understand, a human is only human. I still have both parents over 70, not too healthy, I'd just add that it's surely more right that the elderly are more at risk than the young, that's the natural path of man, and the vast majority of these elderly would immediately sign to go to the other side before their young ones. Me right away! A hut that's for collapsing will collapse, even if it's yours. If you take that into account earlier, it's easier. But it's tough.

Just one more thing, does anyone know any other good covid stories? So it's not just negativism. I know of 4. Two pairs among friends, our age. And we're not connected to the infections at all, to avoid misunderstanding. They all probably got it at work, cashiers.

Hello (results are important)
In the first post I was still bragging about push-ups, now I can boast that I'm happy if I climb those 17 house stairs without weakness.
Every day I can boast that I "burned up" (expression heard in hospital) to 39.5C and then try to cool it with Lekadol.
Personal doctor sent me to Žalec covid container on Monday. Took swab, blood, listened to lungs. After an hour wife went for blood results. RESULTS bad, referral to Celje hospital waiting for her. So she returned home for me and took me to Celje.
At 16:00 I was at hospital ER. Waited till 21:00 to be examined. Got infusion, swab, blood, chest x-ray, EKG.
When all data gathered doctor came and suggested I stay for observation till next day. Got a sheet and spent night in office on trolley. Next to me older lady (separated by curtain), heard: "you have such bad RESULTS!"!
In the morning took blood again. Doctor after about an hour says RESULTS not so bad (diagnosis: mild covid pneumonia) and I'll go home. Call wife and happily homewards. Fever continues, coughing...
Saw plenty of painful, exhausted, drained patients. It's already a privilege to be able to walk yourself...
Many more will die.
Yes, RESULTS are important, only those count!!!

MitjaBelak, when you equate old shack with old person and job loss, then I don't understand anything here.
Probably easiest would be to get over job loss, old shack I'd demolish if I had a new one. But with old person I couldn't reconcile if I contributed to their death. Otherwise I'm old myself and probably belong here.
I sign that, if I had choice, I'd go before these young ones of mine. Who wouldn't?
