Not only disinfectants; drugs are to blame, like with our government and so-called "experts".

I'm proud of us and our healthcare. Our healthcare holds up well in these times. Just look across the borders and we quickly see it's not so bad here. And look at those famous intensive care beds that so many words were said about. Slovenia has about 250. For 2 million population. That puts us at the world top. Look at Sweden: 673 beds for 10 million population... "According to the latest figures from the National Board of Health and Welfare, Sweden on Wednesday December 9th had 673 intensive care beds equipped with ventilators." @Polona. One of my colleagues said it nicely. Balkan people will wise up only when their grannies, grandpas, moms, dads and other closest ones die. Well. Let's hope wisdom meets you as soon as possible.

Covid incident

Last Friday Tina gets fever and immediately suspects covid. We call the on-call doctor and ask him how and what. Test not possible before Tuesday, except if worsening and admission to hospital. I showed no special symptoms and the kids did not sneeze more than a couple of times a day, still like that today. Tina lay for a good three days with rising fever over 39, no cough, but slightly harder breathing. Since she has hiatal hernia, we thought due to fatigue the breathing sensation was different too. I was worried. We did a couple of simple breathing tests and found flow sufficient. By Tuesday, when she drove to the swab in the morning, fever was gone. Same day evening she gets message that swab NEGATIVE. We decide to call doctor in the morning and arrange blood tests to maybe show what nuisance this is. Doctor sends her urgently to Topolšica to the pulmonologist. In Topolšica first rapid test, also NEGATIVE. Follows chest x-ray, chest CT with contrast and blood tests for wider spectrum of viruses, flu. Results nothing special, except two parameters that pointed to covid. After consultation with the doctor who had covid, the conclusion was almost final that everything points to covid. Doctor orders another swab, whose result we got in the evening - NEGATIVE. Recommended quarantine ordered. Hope symptoms don't repeat, as those few days of illness tired Tina a lot. Time will tell.
Regards

Anonymous guy, why should wisdom meet me?? What did I write that's so bad? And if you don't know, my grandma died this July - thanks for the sensitivity, and not because of covid, at least not directly, but because of government measures. So don't wise up, at least not while hiding behind anonymity, you guys are always the smartest and bravest jezen

If I work in education, it doesn't mean I'm a teacher, cuz I'm not mežikanje

About the youth, they're like their parents raised them. If my generation was raised with a firm hand and respect for elders, today it's the opposite. Kids are golden, everything's allowed, spoiled, don't respect elders, no work habits, so I'm really worried what will happen when they grow up. Probably live on parents' backs till 50 or longer. Of course there are exceptions, but not many.

Zoran, hope it passes soon, whatever hit you, and you recover well, no consequences nasmeh In our area we're all healthy, including my parents in risk group, cuz we take care and live smart mežikanje

Primož, how am I inciting fear among the elderly??? Please quote where I wrote anything like that to incite fear among the elderly. I've always respected elders, call them by name and help when needed, cuz that's how I was raised, anyone who knows me can confirm. I think that's the limit. You don't even know me and accuse me of such things. How dare you. And then you write about personal integrity, but throw the biggest bombs yourself. Shame mrk pogled

@ppegan, who pays you for this "duty" in this thread and bashing the current government and measures... I never voted for them, but it seems to me that in this time we need everything but divisions and showing muscles about who is more right...

And one more thing I can't get my head around... in the same post... quote: "And if you don't know, my mom died this July..." and a few paragraphs lower, quote again: "In our area we're all healthy, also my parents in risk group..." zmedenzmedenzmeden

You really can't be helped, not only do you accuse me of untrue things, you also insult me. And then you talk to me about personal integrity, don't make me laugh, please.
I stand by everything I wrote, and no, nothing of that is criminal, believe me, I know, because I'm not from cleaning service.
Really weird that they started easing measures, from today to tomorrow. Yeah, how come if before it was so fine?? Masks outside not mandatory anymore, masses, mostly attended by the highest risk group, allowed again, but kids can't go to school. Weird logic, right. Aren't they afraid of health system collapse? Still as many die as one busload, today 43. It's about lives, right? At least that's what they want to convince us.
Come on, pull your head out of the sand and don't be like a horse with blinders, start thinking with your own head a bit, because you're pretty pathetic. And how come you still reply if you blocked me??

Primož, it's really late and I'm a bit tired, but what you wanted to say with that writing I don't quite get. If quotes from interlocutors, then maybe it dawns on me a bit......

Where the whole situation goes we'll see in a year or two..... but I fear not in the direction you expect.
Regarding Polona I think you're wrong to judge and insult her, she doesn't call anyone to anything, just expresses her opinion and thinks with her own head. Hope we still have that right. Would agree with her on some statements.

Just saw this article and don't have a good feeling...

Mcgiver, thanks for the support nasmeh I think everyone has the right to their opinion, since we are still supposed to be in a free country. I haven't incited or convinced anyone to my right, because I believe everyone can form their own opinion about the current situation. What kind it is, is up to the individual. But it's true that sometimes I have a hard time understanding how naive and blinded people are. In every political system there are supporters and opponents of that system. I'm currently an opponent, but I'm already looking forward to Erjavec, since he can't be worse than JJ or maybe, given the party he's president of again, he'll really do something for the protection of the elderly.

Primož, I wrote to you what I thought. Since I'm smarter, I'll stop. But I'm glad you give me such value that you think I can influence anyone here with my comments. I think everyone is smart enough to see where the dog is buried in this corona situation.
Maybe just this, you didn't comment on the current easing of measures. Churches yes, school no, for Christmas and New Year abolition of bans on crossing municipalities and curfew. Most countries are closing and tightening measures, we are easing them. What do you think about that?

Regarding vaccination, I also wrote that I have nothing against it if someone gets vaccinated. Why not, if someone wants to protect themselves that way. That's also an individual's personal decision. I won't, because I never have for anything, and I'm completely OK, healthy as a fir nasmeh

Drago, in my area, and also in schools, it's like that regarding the youth, especially teenagers have become unruly. In my time we didn't threaten teachers with lawyers, but we feared and respected them. Maybe you don't have that much insight into it. Of course there are exceptions, I didn't say everyone is like that. If you live somewhere where it's not, thank God mežikanje
And regarding healthcare, Matej was right. Yes, they do non-invasive examinations like ultrasounds and such, but not interventions and surgeries. My father can barely walk because of sciatica, and they can't even give him a block, because they don't do it currently, about surgery he can dream, at least for now. How he'll walk until then, no one cares. Now he'll go private for an examination, and I hope they can at least help him there. But I don't know why he pays ZZ all these years if in such a situation he has to pay everything himself. Of course it doesn't move you if you don't have some operation or intervention. Believe me, you don't want to be in the situation my father is in now.

I'm glad that some care so much about grandpas and grandmas. I myself am a grandpa well over 60, I have two first-graders grandchildren and it's quite hard for me to watch how they miss school and company. They've been home for two months already and grandpa and grandma help them with learning. Do you think that's normal? A few days ago I was in Austria (I went to a gas station that's closer to me than in our municipality - so no one says I violated the decree). I drove past a school where there was a lively crowd of children - children were in school. What about ours. And if some of us then criticize our measures, you call us fools. Primož, I suggest you start a party called Fools, you have some like-minded people on this forum - comrade Twito Janoš Jansza will be happy about you. Polona and other like-minded, I suggest as Dejan already wrote, that you withdraw from here - the smarter one yields.
