Despite promises of gorgeous weather today, the hike to Debela peč in the morning was a total disappointment view-wise
Wanted to "show" brother the panorama from this viewpoint, but sadly nothing. Some other time...
Lots of people though, heavenly atmosphere, path without issues.

Already when going up off-trail boletuses tempted me, picked young ones and took them to the return point. Windy on Debela peč, sheltered, I enjoyed them calmly watching mist play. Back and checked boletuses again, still some there. Road drivable.

You can drive to Planina Zajavornik by car but there is not much space for parking. Further to the monument, it is not plowed.

Kafetarca, I parked yesterday right by the road at the junction to Šport hotel, space for about 7 maybe 8 cars. During the week I assume there is always space. But watch road closures, all the way to 9 January, if I remember right, closed sections vary by day, for some time the closure will already be from the junction at Šport hotel.

Hi, has anyone been recently on a hike from Zajavornik?
Specifically, I'm interested in the current state of the road to the parking lot at planina Zajavornik.
I read in older posts that it can be quite icy.
Which starting point do you recommend as the best/closest alternative?

If the road is icy no problem, but I'd bet anything it's not plowed right now
