I never get involved in such mistakes myself, this time I was just curious if @UB77 is right.mežikanje I trust this: https://besana.amebis.si/pregibanje/ (just enter Brezje pri Tržiču in the field).

Simply, in doubts about a possible quick mistake, I avoid it by writing e.g. "path that starts in the settlement Brezje pri Tržiču". nasmeh

Hmm, interesting GITA thing, it'll come in handy elsewhere too. nasmeh No, I don't want to show off at all, but I definitely know locals say z Brezij because plural form is used (na Brezjah...). Probably nobody taught them it's not grammatically correct...velik nasmeh

We always set off for the trail from somewhere, which doesn't mean 'z/s'; it can also be 'iz'. If we were e.g. 'v Celju', we'll set off 'iz Celja'. If we were 'na Bledu', then 'z Bleda'. Likewise, we always set off 'iz hiše' and, after getting our fill of lounging on some peak, 'z vrha/gore'. nasmeh

Yesterday Dobrča and Šentanski vrh from Begunje. Snow at start ~30cm, at hut over 1m, summit more.

Paths to hut nicely trodden, from hut across meadow had to trudge hard, esp. on meadow. Forest better, track to Šentanski vrh.

Wind chased us from original goal Dobrača to Dobrča. Windy here too occasionally, no strength left nasmeh. Summit via Bistriška and Lešanska planina, descent along ridge. Summit part any direction: snowshoes rec. wet snow/drift. Possible w/ more effort no. Morning lower: microcrampons icy bits.
We park a little above Brezje pri Tržiču and continue along the road1
Soon the first sun rays greet us. The path is packed, we don't need snowshoes2
First we go to Bistriška planina3
The path becomes a track, still good enough for walking without snowshoes4
There is much more snow on the clearing than in the forest. Every step off the path is a visit to the cellar :)5

Just before it we turn left onto the marked path7
Our next goal8
Surprisingly there are also car tracks in the snow9
But only to the hunting hut near which the car is also parked10
The track is getting narrower most predecessors are day-trippers11
We gladly accept the invitation :)12
The wind has made deep drifts and up here without snowshoes it's no longer possible13
Lešanska planina14
We continue ahead from the pasture, away from the usual winter path15
Several times we sink deeply even with snowshoes, but the untouched whiteness has its charm :)16
We are already at the top and almost unbelievably … completely alone :)17
We descend along the usual marked path18
So that it is not too short altogether we also turn towards the hut19
We are on the right path :)20

There are not many of us and we are served immediately22

Winter idyll. For walkers without snowshoes the track is not very comfortable24
