Hello. Today in cloudy-sunny weather to Dobrča. Start from the parking lot above Brezje village via Bistriška and Lešanska planina. Path without features. Snow starts a bit below Bistriška planina and poses no problems for walking. In the hut still top-notch štruklji (and other food too velik nasmeh

Well, I have, but it's been a long, long time, when this portal didn't exist yet. But Saturday was the right day to visit Dobrča and Šentanski vrh, which I first heard about last week when j. posted his winter hike there. Good thing, otherwise I might have missed the magnificent view.

We did a circular tour, kind of a figure eight. Up "along the edge", down via Lešanska and Bistriška planina. Of course we didn't skip the hut, where our gazes lingered most around the bird feeder, which also had a lot of visitors nasmeh

, not just the hut.

Dobrča overall impresses, I enjoyed the wind that was blowing on Saturday a bit below the summit and swirling snow on certain parts of the path and making plans in my mind for future visits to this wonderful peak. The descent via Podgorska planina to the hut was also beautiful.

Yesterday from Draga over Ledena trata to Sivora saddle, over frozen traverses with up to 5cm powder to the top and back. Windy at the saddle. Crampons mandatory.
One set of footprints ahead of me, two at the top.

misace, for me this is the nicest approach to Dobrča. From the road it's quite far if you don't have the right car.

Today first time on Dobrča and Šentanski vrh. Start from Brezje near Tržič, then along the "edge" to Lešanska planina. From there to the top of Dobrča and Šentanski vrh, where I stayed only briefly, as due to low clouds there were no views mrk pogled

And they forecasted such nice weather for today. I checked webcams and "found out" that (at least at 9:30) the visibility limit was around 1700m, as e.g. Kamniško sedlo was in sun, likewise slopes of Krvavec below the tower and the 2000ers! zadrega

Returned past the hut on Dobrča to make the tour at least a bit circular. Everything without peculiarities: nicely marked, path well trodden, hikers you could count on one hand velik nasmeh

There is no water inside, to the right of the trough is a viewpoint. I skipped it because everything was in the fog.

At the take-off site. The lower edge of the clouds started at 1000 m.

The hut at Lešanska planina stood empty.

Šentanski vrh... we need to return for the views.

Dobrča in white. nasmeh

Starting point: a little before Zadnja vas.
From junction with path from Slatna better trodden.
From hut via Podgorska planina = 'singletrack'
Descent along edge = 'highway'

Pokljuka edge, Kanjavec, Triglav, Kepa...

Across Kriška gora and Tolsti vrh to Storžič and then a jump to Kočno and the other Grintovce

Today to Dobrča from Begunje. We parked about a kilometer ahead, where the marked path starts. The morning was sunny and fresh. The path was very well trodden. We needed quite some gymnastics to bypass the fallen trees. Lots of spring flowers. The road is passable to the spot where the snow slide came down the "gully". Two cars parked there. After an hour of walking, we reached the frozen snow that didn't sink at all.
From the hut onwards to Podgorska planina and towards the summit of Dobrča and Šentanski vrh. Benches on the top under snow. nasmeh

Stunning views from the hut onwards.
On the return, many more encounters, parking also full. Very nice day. nasmeh

After half an hour of walking - on return about 6 cars parked here every time

All day we had Triglav within arm's reach. Very nice.

The Sunday ascent to Dobrča seemed quite demanding given my current condition. But good company and weather overcame the obstacles and we made it. Ascent from Brezje past Poldetova klopca directly to the summit. Less snow on Dobrča than on Notranjska on Saturday. Top views from the summit and Šentanski vrh, from the Julian Alps with Triglav to Stol and Begunjščica, then Košuta, Kočna, Grintovec, Storžič, Tolsti vrh and Kriška gora. Of course we saw Stegovnik and Ženiklovec too. In the distance even Peca! At the summit we only put on crampons; it's not necessary but safer. At the hut great coffee and they already have some treats for the way. Descent past Bistriška, Breška and Lešanska planina. Total 17 km and 1000 m elevation gain. Thanks to the head of the family for the idea, guidance and execution.
