Dobrča offered everything today...from mud, snow, sun, clouds, pleasant atmosphere in the hut and quality service of good food. If we start in Brezje near Tržič, snow starts somewhere at the viewpoint.

For the weekend again to Dobrča. This time there were a few more of us. No snow anywhere, here and there in the forest a bit frozen. Cold in the morning, but it warmed up a lot during the day - especially in the sun. From Brezje via Šentanska planina to Šentanski vrh, and to the hut on Dobrča for - goodies.

Brezje – Dobrča – Lešanska planina – Bistriška planina - Brezje: in the lower part the path is partly icy; from Poldetova klopca onwards the track is snow-covered and sinks in places up to the knees; below the summit good track. In the upper part I met one who was descending running so that his footprints weren't much use to me. I descended via Lešanska planina on snow-covered track, lower through the forest it's trodden. The snow is completely dry and despite the cover walking is fine.

Maybe someone knows what the conditions are like on the road to Bistriška planina (by car) and then further to Dobrča - are crampons needed?

Pelca, I don't know about the road to B. planina, I went from Brezje pri Tržiču myself. Crampons by feel, some put them on, some didn't

Nice day and photos, but the wind can't be seen anyway . You've walked quite a lot. Otherwise, given your daily activity that we're witnessing on the Forum, you really can't lack fitness.. Keep it up.

On Saturday, 23.9., we forgot a dark blue baby romper on Dobrča (at the top or the highest parking below it). We ask any finder to call 041 749 086; we'll reward them, as it's unlikely to fit anyway.

Today to Koča na Dobrči. I started the path in Zadnja vas. Some on road, some through forest. In the lower part there was strong afternoon thaw and snow melting rapidly. In the upper part quite a lot of snow was falling from trees and the hut roof today. Nothing trodden around the hut, seems no one has been up since the last snowfall.
Weather wonderfulllll. Already smells like spring.

Parking was problem, but assume snow nicely gone in these two warm sunny days, no issue now. I also saw broken window and thought same...

Today on Dobrča and Šentanski vrh, early in the morning at moonset, windy, on the return towards the valley with sleet and snow. The path from Bistriška planina is snowy in places, but not frozen.
