Golte (along the protections) Two mountain buddies have been on »sick leave« since last week. Previously solo hikers, now almost can't do a tour one without the other . Janez, today more limited (that means: just right for the other participants.. ). When we park at one of many starting points, west wind surprises us, which in valley doesn't sweep so strong as here. [It] lets us know it's bringing weather change.. First on »Milan's« path. Nicely executed with climbing inserts, key spot protected. Continuation along ridge, partly [through] forest and starting point where you can decide then where? Nice choice of options for experts. We continue to Boskovec and then below Javorca. [We] sign in and continue to M. hut. Next destination [is the] window, rest on bench and descent to marked [path] below. When [we] look towards »Sphinx«, decision falls for that ascent too. Need to check »Janez's« path . [We] climb below Sphinx, key spot again protected and already on ridge that surprises many honestly… Shorter ascent – since [we] started much higher, maybe more demanding than previous ) and then extended descent to road. With Zdravko we [are of] one opinion[, that] it's nicely rounded whole containing bit of everything… Nicely used four hours [of] sunny morning and made some plans ahead in high mountains.. lp

I don't know where, maybe right under this post which is closest and most current (read: with lots of posts). Need to mention and praise PD Mozirje markers for new nicely arranged path from Istega to Kal. On part where path steeply descends or ascends[, they] routed [it] through forest, nicely in switchbacks. Worth checking, maybe circular variant via Stara stan. Lp.

Bravo Janez for the shown winter idyll! Forecasters really hit the forecast. Last week we still enjoyed the warm sunshine together, but no problem. Next tour will be in the snow, which is fine. Nice greetings!!!

Yes, I was really surprised yesterday spotting a wall lizard before Mesarska lopa, as they usually migrate to Primorska early October. It was right in front of the entrance to Mesarska lopa. No time for a pic. The pic you attached my cousin took in October at Igla. Lp, Janez

Janez, congratulations also from my side for the beautiful photos you took during your recent visits to the Javorca area, which means a lot to you. At least that's what was noticeable on Wednesday, when we, to the great joy of our four-member group, accidentally met just before arriving at your bivouac. I hope we'll get the chance again sometime to meet and walk the rest of your paths together, so we can admire everything else around them that we couldn't this time. Best regards Janez

Now we have to agree on setting up the little spruce. That time is coming. And of course, prepare the ornaments... regards
