Since we're at Kališče.
Early morning - still dark - Janko gets up and prepares for the hike to Kališče. When he reaches the door, he notices heavy rain. A bit too much - he thinks, hesitates and finally decides to return to bed. When he undresses in the dark and jumps under the covers with his wife, she gently asks:
Is it raining?
Yes, the husband replies.
She laughs: Ha, our nutcase is on Kališče!

In the afternoon it started to clear up a bit and Kališče was quite the right goal. The path is now already trodden, since one overtook me, another was climbing on my return. Above 1200 m new snow starts, at the hut at least 40 cm new. A few more pics.

No problems. The path is fully passable. On the road to the stream there are some smaller fallen trees, further mostly still from the windthrow.

In Mače there is parking for forty cars. Always cleared.

On Saturday I went via unmarked from Bašelj. Quite a few fallen trees at 900-1100m height, then OK. But really lots of fallen stuff and quite annoying to climb over trees and through branches.
