Today by car to Jermanca. The road to Jermanca is barely drivable in some places due to storms, so I recommend careful driving. Then on the path towards Repov kot and soon to the right cross the torrent bed and up the hill to the hunting hut. View for the chosen ones. A steep ascent to the saddle follows and then a walk to the foot of Kamniški dedec. Here we leave the poles and climb the very steep gully to the summit. REWARD - magnificent view of Kamniško sedlo, Planjava etc. To the left Brana, then all the way to Kokrsko sedlo and Krvavška group and Velika planina. Descent from the summit of Kamniški dedec requires much caution due to the slipperiness of the ground. At the hunting hut a sip of drink and back to the car.

Yesterday my friend and I were at Dedec. The path to Klin was icy in places, so caution is not superfluous. At the hunting hut we put on crampons, as under the snow it is icy somewhere, towards the summit the snow had already hardened. The summit greeted us with a winter fairy tale, from Brana avalanches thundering. Someone before us had pulled a trail, but missed the upper part and we made the necessary correction. In short - enjoyable!

Nice afternoon tour to Kamniški Dedec. Path is nice, not marked but well trodden, so no orientation issues.(quite steep). Summit offers wonderful views. Path completely dry. Nice greeting.(Order of pictures got a bit mixed for me)

After a long time back to Dedec to check if path still so steep. It is. Except two choughs on summit, saw no living soul.

Today first to Dedec, then descent past the hunting hut and across to Repov kot, where I catch the path over Macesnovec and find myself above Pastirci. Then just a relaxed descent to the valley. mežikanje

Occasionally strong wind couldn't spoil the good impression and today's views. On the transverse hunting path to Repov kot one bolt holding the chain is ripped out, on the path over Macesnovec all OK.

Nice, steep is this path to Dedec. The summit enchants you with wonderful views. Today there were quite a few hikers on top. Recommend. Nice greeting.

Nice stroll today to Dedec. On ascent all foggy, views only on descent. When it finally cleared I was already drinking beer at Jurj's velik nasmeh

Yesterday I headed to Kamniški Dedec as every year in spring, the path is fully dry except two snowfields-avalanches below on the path to Kamniško sedlo. Excellent despite forecasted clouds.

If you're going for the first time, it's easy to get lost or stray.

When you arrive/reach picture 19 in the mentioned article, you must cross the streambed to the right. Just as outlined in that picture.

I confirm Tomaž's above comment. If you can stray from the path anywhere, then only here in this picture, above just follow the path

Last time when I was up here there were hardly any views, so I repeated today.
Wonderful views, from afar we watched two mountaineers ascending to Staničev vrh.

Pleasant path through the forest, at the junction a big cairn, streambed currently dry, steepness above hunting hut still jezik

On the summit we two alone enjoyed views, only from hunting hut down we met one hiker.

Given the number of posts, neglected peak?

Yesterday 24.2.2019 visited Kamniški Dedec. Wonderful views comparable to Kompotelo! nasmeh

My favorite panoramic spot.

Right after crossing the torrent, crampons recommended. I myself kept them on all the way to the hut, but from there onwards without them it wouldn't be possible. Snow super quality otherwise! Hard crust that holds. Last jump to the top luckily without snow.

After almost two years back on Dedec, from which really nice views of KS Alps. From hunters' hut onwards quite icy, towards summit snow breaks through. Up top no wind, so I stayed on summit for quite a while. On return only met two lads on Jermanci returning from Brana.
