Regardless of how some consider themselves Gorenjci (who'd blame you  ), the fact is the Kamnik municipality, including Kamniška Bistrica, is part of the central Slovenian statistical region, so not Gorenjska. It's not hard to understand, right 
And I really don't care, what bothered me was the comment about Gorenjci being greedy, usually we're stingy, always guilty for everything. But this time the offended gentleman, who'll surely be welcome in Croatia, will have to vent his anger on people from another region

Hahahahahahaha...this reads like "let's keep Gorenci together, but not with Kamnik" ...fuck stat regions!...like telling a Dobrpulcu or Grosupljan that he's not a Dolenjec...
And also, "off the record", apparently huge parking fee?

Polona, once I read somewhere... If a Gorenjka or Gorenjec puts some €€€ aside, she's stingy or he's stingy. If someone from another Slovenian region does it, they're thrifty

Bojan, that's what I'm talking about. We're not always Gorenjci to blame for everything. And I have nothing against Kamnik municipality, nice spots, I've used Kamniška Bistrica and Jermanca as starting points many times myself, but when they weren't selling tickets yet. That's why my reaction to the offended gentleman's comment. This time Gorenjci aren't guilty of anything

Statistical nonsense has nothing to do with regions. Some bigshots in Ljubljana cooked that up and decided to abolish Primorska, Štajerska and Dolenjska too.
Primorci won't give in of course Štajerci and Dolenjci, I'd say neither

Was there Sunday morning, from the hunting hut snow that had turned into ice, there are footprints, somehow managed up, down though obligatory at least crampons, also put on helmet due to fall risk, below hut already south-facing. Probably same even now due to low temps. At least microspikes obligatory.

Hello. Today I was on Kamniški Dedec, but from the west side. Started at the bus turnaround and into the forest towards Mešenik. On the ridge where there's a junction to Mešenik and Dedec to the left. There it's kinda annoying to climb as there's lots of loose material. After that it's nice to the top. Met no one except one chamois. Path trackless, orientation easy but climbing tricky. Especially where mentioned.
Great to walk in remote world without crowds.

After a long time yesterday again to Kamniški Dedec. We started in Kamniška Bistrica, since driving to Jermanca would be improper for this trip. We enjoyed walking through freshly leafed forest, less enthusiastic after crossing dry stream bed soon after turnoff to Repov kot, as it quickly became clear no more peace and quiet there. In all these years it changed, ran into at least two large groups, summit crowded so hard to get real views. Even more, it seemed almost dangerous to me, as space up there not much, pushing to edges not recommended. When you move you can endanger someone, plus dogs demanding space. Sunday really not the right day for this otherwise nice but no longer remote mountain. Definitely recommend another day if you want to enjoy views of nature on top!
We returned via upper hunters' path, we said let's check if possible otherwise back. And both thrilled with path and views. And lots of fresh heather, some parts fully pink shaded. Got our fill on this trip too, added new fresh to known path. Even caught chamois in memories, posed perfectly without much fear.

Looks like Visevnik. This will be a bizarre comparison, but maybe says something - on yesterday afternoon walk to Zvoh from Jezerca pasture (short: most touristy hike possible) we met in total exactly as many people as just on Dedec summit in pic 17.

n3jc, Viševnik is marked and more understandable and expected. lubadar, I assume you were waiting for crowds up there, but there were none.
