Did you park right at the last parking lot? (Tinky's first and fourteenth picture)

No, right after the bend when you get to the parking lot, only two cars were parked...

If you can tell us: how much was the amount and what formal reason did they write? Thanks!

Stopping and parking 6. at the intersection and less than 15 m from the nearest edge of the transverse carriageway before the intersection, unless otherwise specified by prescribed traffic signage. What kind of country is ours becoming, that they hunt you in the bushes for how close to the intersection you park???

Thanks a lot, Skala123! This parking at starting points is really becoming a nightmare. Not that I'd support leaving cars just anywhere - Kamniška Bistrica is a prime example of metal chaos on nice weekends - but it could all be arranged a bit more friendly. And I think there would be nothing wrong if the parking lots were chargeable for an appropriate amount. The police officer who wrote the fine was perhaps even guided by friendliness, which dictated an unusual (less expensive) definition of the offense for the bush. He could have written or perhaps even added another offense under Article 98 (disregard of signage, traffic sign prohibiting traffic at Jerinček), for 160 EUR. In any case, it's poor consolation for the one who got the fine and also for those who can expect it in the future. But unfortunately also proof that something is seriously wrong in communication regarding parking (and nature preservation!). And I really doubt that the issue will be resolved optimally with fines.

Maybe he couldn't write a fine under art. 98 because the sign there isn't "official"? Maybe there was even a report... and he had to write something to "cover the path". Then he went to measure the distance from the "intersection" (which would be very hard to call that).

Many won't like this answer, but park nicely in the valley, take those 45 min for warming up and no problem at all. Same goes for parking by the cable car (V Koncu). Otherwise, hills are getting overcrowded, more and more boors and those who think they aren't go to the mountains, parking wherever they fancy, not even mentioning "parking" on forest roads, etc., that farmers and foresters can't do work on their land. Simply rabble and too many people and it'll only get worse...

Everyone knows where the Easter bunny is hiding. Hojs or the self-proclaimed urban cooperative. Got fined and talked to the cop, like a report. Tightened controls due to covid, kudos to where we've come. Shame.

OK, maybe I'm rambling too, everyone has the right to their opinion, with or without arguments. But that's why bivouacs are "cleaned up" more each year.

My view won't please you either . In the morning most think it's awesome to deliberately drive past the no-entry sign and "bomb" us non-drivers to car-accessible spots with gravel dust. Often get away without a fine, sometimes not. But don't play victims then. . When we get fines in KB on sections before that sign, that'll be a real crisis .

nteam, for walking on foot you have paths that don't go on gravel.

Yes, grega, I know - I meant towards Koncu, where part of the way is on the road

A month ago @dr.ejči wrote that they fined him here too. The no-entry sign has been there for years, as far as I know they didn't issue tickets before. Obviously times are changing.

Greedy highlanders and lofty urban bigwigs. Sooner or later there'll be paid parking. Then instead of mountains I'll go to Croatia to the sea. There they don't measure distance from roads with a meter, just come and spend. Our war profiteers smelled money because going to mountains became popular. Road is there, no need to dig new, maintained from public funds but you'd still charge. Haven't seen traffic accidents there. Who do parked cars on traditional spots bother? Sticky Gorenjskan fingers. I hope parking fees on Gorenjska parking plates are introduced as soon as possible. Instead of stopping at Gorenjska tavern, out of principle I won't now. There'll be some tavern closer to home. Won't give a cent to highlanders.
