We've been to Kamniški vrh many times, this time first from Iverja along Potoka valley. The path ascends nicely, almost 900 m of elevation gain to overcome. On holiday Sunday the views were nice, some clouds. A short stop and chat at the summit. Interesting descent along the ridge over Hudi konec, followed by a quite steep descent. Total 12 km, happy and grateful to planinski rožici for the new path she showed us. Knowledge and ideas don't run out.

I went up preferably along Potok, because this path is more demanding orientation-wise. Over Hudi konec following the path no problems.mežikanje

"Soon" took almost a month, but it happened. Past planina Osredek up, descent straight down to Slevo and from there through Županje Njive back to car at P near Calcit. Paths without features, weather fine, no crowds, solitude aplenty. Next time from other sides, other paths. Nice nice nasmeh

When fog rolls through the valleys, it is best to visit higher-lying and closest hills. This time I drove to the pruh above Slevov and set off along dry tracks, paths and trails. On the ascent to Kamniški vrh I looked back many times at the shoulder on the slope and watched changing views all the way to the summit, where I shared a meal with the four-legged companion of the trio that was already at the top. Then path under the feet and past the thermometer showing 8°C, descent and ascent to Planjava with nice views on KSA peaks. Followed by descent to Ravne senožeti and to the pruh. After a tiring night, on the first spring day, I drag myself up late and opt for just a quick jaunt to Kamniški Peak.
On such a beautiful day I extended it a bit, via Planina Osredek and Planjava. Below Planina Osredek there's quite some mud. You step on snow if you go on the marked path on the north side of Planjava and on the descent towards the saddle between both peaks.
Day nice, warm and very exciting for the first day of the new year.
Here I wish all of you a happy, healthy year, with light and safe steps.

Is the scree on picture 9 the same as this? Are things better today? How would you rate the path past the hunting hut in terms of exposure? I'm not vertiginous, have some via ferratas behind me, but things like this scree are more annoying to me. No cable, right?

The path is completely OK, but because of these annual rockfalls in this area I'd rather use the path past the Koroška waterfalls to Osredek (past the cross), which bypasses this collapsed path. And it seems even nicer to mevelik nasmeh

Vrh123, there is a cable. The path is normally passable.
