Kamniški vrh

Today an afternoon hike to Kamniški vrh from Ambrož to Planina Osredek and from the pasture to Senožeta, then steeply up the lower path to the top. Back along the ridge to the starting point.

Above Ambrož at the bend we leave the vehicle and go along the forest road to planina Osredek.

The planina is still without flowers, but in a month it will be different.

Then along the lower path past the bog to Senožeta.

When we descend to the little meadow, wonderful views.

And a view of the traversed steep section.

The views of the valley enchanted me today.

The white bushes on the slopes of Kamnik Peak and Planjava are "honey pears", very tiny fruits which I pick a handful of in autumn for my pocket on the way to the beautiful peaks nasmeh

Today's afternoon tour to Kamnik Peak. At the start of the path warm sunshine greeted us, somewhere mid-path a short cold shower then sun again, strong wind started blowing. Quite a few hikers, nice tour anyway. Path without special features. Nice greetings.

Today this hill was quite besieged as the mountain running race Krvavec sky run was going on. I tried to snap a few pics but it didn't go too well. Competitors were still pretty fresh here since they had only quarter of the route behind.
Apologies if I missed someone.

In front the nearer Planjava 1243, behind it Kržišče 1658, Krvavec hotel and transmitter

First of the ladies arrived Katja, 15 min and 16 sec. behind Luka.

As twentieth arrived the tireless veteran Boris

At the end also race director Klemen, who also acted as sweeper.

This Kamnik Peak is really besieged.. zavijanje z očmi

A few days before the runners, Kamnik Peak was in the sign of paragliders. Every year on May 25 they celebrate the anniversary of the first jump with a paraglider from Kamnik Peak. This year was the 30th anniversary. Lp

Sonia, wonderful views of colorful paragliders. These girls and boys are completely dependent on their courage and knowledge. There is no engine power here to save them anyhow. Good luck all in the air!

Nice Silvo1952, we met at the saddle where the path splits for Planjava. I then continued towards Krvavec and at the end by shortcut to the valley. nasmeh

Since clouds were dragging higher up, we went to Kamnik Peak from Klemenčevo. Good choice! Up the steep path (SE ridge), down over Planina Osredek. No mud anywhere, despite abundant precipitation these days! We hoped to find the path past Korošica Waterfalls, but in bad weather and strong shower apparently missed the branch. Next time!

Nice circular afternoon tour on the first spring day to Kamnik Peak. Starting point Slevo - Kamnik Peak. Planjava at Kamnik Peak - planina Osredek - Slevo. Path without special features, except on the part of the path from planina Osredek to the starting point, where part of the path is very damaged and great caution is needed so that no slip occurs. Nice greeting.
