Due to lack of time and ideas I remembered that once a route description via Hude konce to Kamnik Peak caught my eye. (It's always good to have a backup, always big grin). I like sonorous route names, so I went to check. Nice little path, nothing hard to find, even though unmarked, description you'll find in the treasure trove of trips on this portal. Path dry, no mud, today hooooooot, almost would have been good to dip feet in Bistrico at the end. Despite holiday solitary, yeah, not everyone bites into steepness. But it's one of the better preserved paths on otherwise visited peak, others quite eroded from below. Advantage of such solitudes is also that you can peacefully lie in the sun and make up for the minus of previous days. For example. rolling eyes

This morning with a colleague we dashed from the place left past pl.osredek to Kamnik Peak and back past the hunting hut.
Nice tour for morning relaxation in beautiful nature and nice weather.

Today I went looking for beautiful lady's slippers on Kamnik Peak. Found six, they are wonderful.

Immediately today after work I head up there. Alenka said they are right below the summit on the north side. Are they really there? I see you found also the iris. L.P.

Today an afternoon [tour], more of a walk to Kamnik Peak from Sleva. To Sleva we come via detours routed across the meadow - a bit awkward. Today was a nice, warm, sunny afternoon.
We turn onto the gravel road over the small bridge before Klemenčevo. There is a direction sign. There is virtually no parking space. Usually drive to the quarry above the settlement Slevo.1
In Slevo another signpost awaits us.2
We can drive along the gravel to the quarry where we leave the vehicle.3

We started (3.11.) at Klemenčevo, crossed the water and ascended along it to the lower Korošev waterfall, then continued over gravel terrain past the second waterfall. We crossed some slightly exposed slopes that are slippery when wet. The increasingly scenic path led us to planina Osredek.
From the planina we continued on a moderately ascending path to the junction. We headed towards Krvavec, but upon seeing the fog descending, we changed the original goal - Kalški greben - to Kamniški vrh. We returned on the same path to the junction and took the beautiful ridge path over Planjave to Kamniški vrh. Strong wind didn't allow a stop at the summit, but the bench a bit below the summit was in the right place and we sat there a bit, enjoyed the view, then down to the valley. Nice circular tour.

...Started in Klemenčevo, crossed the water. There isn't so little of it but no problem. Then steeply uphill. Towards the top frozen snow. Back on the other side past the bivouac and along the steep ridge edge. Then on a nice path traversing the slope. Flowers below snow above, interestingnasmeh

Today from Bistričica, through Sleva, over Ravne and Strme hayfields to Kamniški vrh. From the top also to the nearby bivouac, then to Planjava and over Osredka back to the starting point. The plan was also past Koroški waterfalls but if it's your first time there they're hard to find. There's no single sign for the waterfalls on the whole path, otherwise warm, almost no wind and quite visited.

Why not ask? At the sign in picture 15 you should turn off the marked path (right behind the sign is a path and you'd go past the waterfalls). Path unmarked but well trodden.nasmeh

I saw that path but no one to ask where it goes. That sign could be nailed to the crossroads.

One curiosity from yesterday's evening visit to Kamniški vrh - on the path I "met" a lizard, a bit too big to be a viviparous lizard (or maybe?). It was on the road before the alpine pasture start, a bit after the turnoff to planšarija...
