Tomorrow 25.5. on Youth Day at 18h on top of Planjava -Kamniški Peak, paragliders meeting. At the same time it's the 25th anniversary of the first paragliding flight in Slovenia, which was done right from Kamniški Peak. Presented will be vintage paragliders with which some will also fly.

Kamniški vrh is now bare.
Circular tour from the bridge below Slevo village right across the slope to the ridge and along it to the top, and descent via Osredek pasture also appeals to me a lot.
If temperature below 0, expect icy path here and there, if above 0, mud won't escape you either in places.

Maybe someone knows what the conditions are on the path through Planina Osredek? Is the path trodden, amount of snow? Additional equipment?

Today was a day for us Nice, short and circular tour, just right when rain forecast hangs in the air. From Krivčevo past always beautiful Koroških waterfalls, steeply to Planina Osredek, then right past Planjava (younger sister, the big one behind) to Kamniški Peak. From summit down steep ridge, then across slope back to start. Little snow with ice everywhere, but no problems. From sour morning sun shone on top, when lower stopped blowing too, it was really warm. No dandelions yet, spring slowly winking .

Ooo, hello Velkavrh! We surely met, as we were the only ones going from Ambrož today.
Otherwise, the ridge is really nice for martinčkanje. Gotta return in summer when all green.

Today rather to Kam.vrh before shift. Path left of scree already quite dangerous!!! Please fix it before something worse happens.
I would do it, but again someone would show up who would criticize that it doesn't meet strange standards.
Otherwise weather top-notch, and a bit to neighboring peak and to waterfalls.

pikec1, just do it, fix it; markacists will be grateful that you decided. We all a few years ago fixed some things but they destroyed everything for us in half a year so we quit, let it stay as it is. There are plenty of paths leading up there, don't dig, look at the others.
