Today I was at Jermanci and it seems they have renovated this road too. There are still some potholes, waves and gullies, but compared to the past, it's luxury now.

yesterday ... road to Jermance still OK ... sometimes bigger drainage ditches ... but doable ... at least if you don't have a Ferrari nasmeh

... no-parking sign right at the end (past the meadow and junction) ... prohibits the old last parking lot ... road to lower station for Kokrško ... catastrophic and 2 classes worse

Yesterday's pre-shift trail-breaking on Kamnik Saddle. The schedule in such conditions is of course different from summer... turning around ca. 100m below the hut. The shift is of course to blame (not late rising, so that no one thinks something like that) velik nasmeh

But the "task" was still completed, for the last part we handed the relay baton to the hikers we met descending cool

On the usual route to Vel'ka, add only crampons, start later on purpose thinking someone ahead breaks trail. nasmeh

Except for van in bend at Jermanci, no cars. Ice starts 8 min before pool, snow 5 min higher. At Pastirci crampons on though no need, training walk and brain switch for wide steps. Debris under snow everywhere, glad to walk on crust beside ruined trail up to last slope before hut, sinks to ankles. Before hut sadly see hikers left winter room upper door open jezen

Change and eat outside, warmer in sun than room. To edge for photos - great views. On return meet 5 people.

The sun peeked out from behind Macesnovec into the bivouac.

The rocks are nicely whitened until the first thaw.

They say this fog in the valley was very thin.

Very large and dangerous snow avalanches

Brana - in these conditions a very dangerous mountain.

If it freezes well, one could go almost from the ground up the gully on snow.

Vrh Korena 1999 and Jermanov turn 1951 with Jermance.

Tomorrow on Monday I'd like to go to Kamniško sedlo... since I don't know the paths from the Kamnik side, I'm wondering about the avalanche danger? The path is probably trampled?

Snow avalanches on the usual route should not pose a danger.

To avoid possible trouble with traffic wardens, I suggest leaving it at the parking lot two hundred metres above the hut, where the hiking trail starts. In case of thawing, hurry on the section of the trail below the ice candles.

It's already been a good month since the last visit, I connect today's visit with the traditional memorial 'Smučka in cepin', which is dedicated to the memory of the PD Kamnik members who ended their life journey in the mountains.

, I drive past it and park at Jermanci in the bend before the same sign.:jezen . There are four more cars there, which suggest to me that there will be at least some visitors in the hut. Snow starts a little below Pastirci, already a little higher there is so much of it that the dwarf pines are under it. The crampons remained in the backpack, apparently I was terribly slow, as I didn't overtake anyone to the hut. For half an hour I occupy a place by the stove, chat a bit with the visitors, I was most happy about Bojča - an alpine legend. I don't go to the ridge, because the wind carries the snow so much that it can't even be seen from the hut. On the return I meet at least twenty people.
