I was also very surprised last year when I saw in SSKJ that gaz is also masculine. Here on the forum I've heard it for the first time and rarely e.g. 'we walked along the gaz' - it really sounds weird. Mostly it's used as what I'd say the correct feminine gender. Ask the elders if it's that gaz, they'll be amazed.

This afternoon I went to the saddle with the youngest (9) and better half. I wanted to drive at least to a couple of bends below Jermanca to save them an hour, but unfortunately it didn't work. We stopped at the junction where the road splits to Konec. I didn't want to push my i20 further. The road is really bad, and it's a shame it doesn't get fixed.

Hello,
I read on the forum that the macadam road from Kamniška Bistrica to the V Koncu parking lot was recently repaired and is nice even for lower cars.
Can you please tell me, what about the road to Jermanca? Was that one also repaired like the one to Konec and is it nice now?

mavi12, about 3 weeks ago I got so stuck just a few meters above the "Y" junction for Konec and Jermanca, towards Jermanca, that I don't even know if next time I should use a tractor to get up or something else? Because my car is really too precious to take up there. Despair. Maybe they've fixed something now, but it put me off going that way.

That's exactly what I'm referring to. From the past I know the road was broken and I never drove up. Now on the forum (I think for Kokrsko sedlo) I read that they've apparently fixed the V Konec road super. Since I want to take an older person to Kamniško sedlo on a slightly shorter route it would be great news if along with the V Konec road the Jermanca road is also repaired.
If I understood correctly what they wrote on the forum for Kokrsko sedlo they were working on these roads ~1 week ago. Has anyone been to Jermanca in the last week and can say what the condition is now?

Today I was at Jermanci. It was possible to go up with a normal car. Slowly you can crawl up, but I wouldn't repeat it myself, because the potholes are still quite deep in places. Hope I helped.

Road to Jermanca drivable with slow drive and caution. Only parking problem due to fine risk. No-parking sign unnecessary IMO. Who knows, maybe roadblock before Kamniška Bistrica in future, capitalism eh.

You're right, parking before Dom in Kamniška Bistrica is already chargeable, all-day parking costs 10 €.

Sign just reduced "safe parking spots" (no fine threat), didn't fully disable safe parking.
