No problem, Peter. Conditions change quickly though; be it on road or hill.

Has anyone been on this path? Starts at Jermanci, leads to marked path to Kamniško Saddle. Is it trodden in summer? Easy orientation?

Many years ago with a colleague who had already gone but we got lost because he didn't remember the path and we descended straight down somewhere to reach the path and then did the classic to the Saddle. Where the square is there's a jasa and animal feeding spot, where you can also start this path. The star marks the parking or where most people park, the circle the end of the road for cars. At the star immediately up the hill and watch out at X where you can stray because it's totally unmarked or wild path, well at least about 15 years ago it was like that. Don't know how it is today. Seems to me we reached the second scree. I know this info doesn't help you about the path, just telling you they walked it, if still, unfortunately don't know. Regards and GOOD LUCK

Yes Gašper, it's the hunters' variant. We were there in autumn, because my buddy knows it better, not even the leaves on the ground were annoying for orientation. In summer it's surely easier to follow and you come out before Bosova gully, where there's a marked path to the saddle on the right. At Jermanci it first goes up in long zigzags, then constantly traverses to the right. If you don't have someone with you who knows it, tackle it in summer so you can turn back in case of losing the track in between. Good luck

The hunters' one you mention ends at the spring below Pastirci. Nice...solitary.

As Garmont wrote, you come out at the spring. A few years ago I went several times, but it takes more time than the marked one. But it's nice, solitary, scenic, and sometimes you have to look for the continuation....

But don't take this path during or after rain or in morning dew - it has some slightly steeper sections where it's good if the grass is dry.

Does anyone by chance have some fresh information regarding conditions? I'm interested mainly in sinking, since I won't be alone on the path and wouldn't want to cave it in for someone...

Seen from Deca on Tuesday, snow starts somewhere from Pastirci onwards. Some post-holing for sure, as the snow is rotten in depth. Unless a nice track has been made.

Can one park at Jermanca, is the road passable?

21.5. afternoon I went from Jermanca to Kamnik Saddle. No sign prohibiting driving in Kamniška Bistrica. Road to Jermanca passable (but bad). Path to saddle crosses some snow patches, longest section over snow about 50 m long (distance, not elevation). Snow was very wet, sinking mostly about 5 cm, sometimes to knees.
