Trip to Kanjavec successful!
Up Zakopico valley, down via Sedmera jezera. Personally, I liked Zakopico valley much more than 7J, because it's more solitary and also more interesting. Wonderful view from Vratca saddle and nice walk under Vršaki to Hribarice.
To the summit we made a loop and no regrets, as on the way back from Kanjavec summit to Hribarice saddle we met a herd of chamois.
From Koča na Triglavskih jezerih still a detour over Štapce and to sour milk and strudel at Planina Dedno polje! Food and dairy caretakers very friendly, food... uf, still salivating!

I recommend the trip, but indeed we needed 11 hours for good 30 km path!

Today from Zadnjica via saddle Čez Dol and Prehodavci to Kanjavec, where on the top a nice view opens to Triglav and other peaks rising above Trenta valley.

Today I did a varied but quite long loop. Zadnjica - over Komar - Dolič - Kanjavec - Prehodavci - Zadnjica. I enjoyed it in Komar, as it surprised me nasmeh

Weather super, sadly no chamois. Rjavo Lake almost without water... nasmeh

Yesterday early morning start at Blato plateau. Via Planina pri Jezeru and Dedno polje plateau go on path Za Kopico. At Vrata saddle head to Hribarice and Kanjavec. Meet some people there. On vast Hribarice two hikers catch me, also heading to Kanjavec. We three almost one hour totally alone on Kanjavec top. Later more hikers join. Day completely cloudless, view can't describe so beautiful.
After long sit on top continue to Vrh Hribaric. Clear day and few cairns for safe path, quickly at Vrh Hribaric. Descend slope other side to saddle between Škednjovec and Hribarice. Tempted to Škednjovec too, but changed mind, enjoyed rest and great views around. Continue steep gully under Škednjovec down to green pastures under Stogovi. Happy for soft ground under boots mežikanje

Path quick to Krstenica. Few words with friendly cheese dairy owner, continue hunting trail to Blato plateau. Finish quite awesome loop nasmeh

Parking packed full, cars along road to asphalt and further. No parking beyond ramp to Blato, those who left cars there yesterday got TNP notice.

.....we three did a circular tour from the other end - start from Zadnjica over Dolič to the top, then over Hribarce to Prehodavci and descent over Zadnjiški dol to the valley. Day to shout about.

Our three-member "expedition" also spent yesterday on Kanjavec. At 5am we park in Zadnjica, where quite a low temperature greeted us zadrega

. But at the junction where we head towards Luknja and the hut at Dolič we already had working temperature mežikanje

. The view towards Kanjavec summit was already colored in first morning rays. The path rises quite quickly in zigzags, already a waterfall greets us along the path flowing under the lower wall of Kanjavec, nearby the climbing path over Komar branches off. Almost half the path we share with those heading to Dolič and those who went further towards Luknja. Awakened peaks in morning sun offer wonderful view from our shady path. Getting closer to the hut at Dolič, we observe hikers descending over Kanjavec ledges. At the hut a short stop to fill our tummies and then on towards Kanjavec. The path is super, like walking on the moon's surface.. nasmeh

, steep but offers real satisfaction. Over the rocky step a wire rope helps, when overcoming this steeper part, only a few steps separate us from the summit. On the summit views that fill the soul. No crowds, which could not be said for Triglav summit. We took quite some time to enjoy on the summit. We would enjoy more but a long path to the valley awaited us jezik

. We descended towards Zasavska hut at Prehodavci. Also there quite some visitors. So now only the path back to the valley awaits. Wide mulattiera leads us over saddle Čez Dol and then we descend over rocky terrain back to valley. How heavy those last steps separating us from the car. Behind us wonderful day and excellent tour.

the little flowers along the path are slowly awakening too

Picture 5: in my opinion right of Jalovec is Kotova špica (not Mangart).

What do you say Panda, that right of Jalovec is Kotova špica?
Take map in hands, look at the thing well and then say.
Neither Mangart nor even less Kotova špica. Neither one nor other peak stands in front of Jalovec!!
